| ^ No worries, I like to talk too!
Not really, My bolt broke, so that's on the need to get list. But it does look like those AK's you would see at a gun show. Look's like I sent it into hell and it got beaten with a brick stick 6 or 7 thousand times. I love it like this....
As for the internals, other than the Element metal cylinder head I installed, it's pretty much stock. I need to find an Element PBS 4 for mine, but I can not find one to save my life. That's what happens when you wait to buy something, lol... |

| CM031 got a wood kit:

Fit and finish are so-so, but the price was right, so I'm not complaining. Easier than making it myself, that's for damn sure.
Not sure I like the pistol grip, so I may just "fakelite" the stock ABS grip. Also, I need to fakelite the mags, as the black looks just wrong.
Other than that, I'm pretty happy with the kit. It's now ready for me to take some steel wool, paint, dremel, claw hammer, etc and weather the hell out of it.
Here's a non-flash pic for a better idea of the color. It is way too light now:

Also, I got a wood foregrip for my CM035, but it needs some dremel time before it'll fit. |

| Это намного лучше. How is the finish, is there any slop left from excess stain?
Grip sucks, that's a 47 type of grip, not a 74. It look's unaccurate, and stupid in my opinion. But if it floats your boat, it floats mine... |

| Yep, the grip is the wrong type, so I'm going to paint the stock grip.
No slop on the finish at all. It's a nice even staining, although entirely too light, and somewhat different shades on the different pieces.
Either way, it's getting restained during the weathering process, so it's no big deal. |

| I don't know what kind of stain you're looking for, but son't get Cherry, I tried it on my 035 and it was way too light...
Try Sedona Red or Red Chestnut stain by Minwax for best results...

| My modified AK, haha. The stock was becoming wobbly, so I took it off. I needed to maneuver better at CQB and be able to take snap shots. It actually worked out well. I will get a battery bag soon so it isn't so ghetto lol. It is a stock TM AK47.
