Hey guys,
So I wanted to do some target practice with my AK but something weird is going on with it. I know the battery is charged first of all; I go to fire and the gun makes a high pitched whining noise. I have no idea what to do or what it is. Any ideas??

High pitched whining and squealing/grinding noises locate me first to the motor. I know it sounds simple, but make sure your motor height is adjusted properly.

If that doesn't work, just reply, and we can try to help you from there.

Are the gear cycling at all? But yeah, if not, do what bioniclebert said. check your motor adjustment.

Your motor height is low, tighten up your adjustment screw.

Hey guys, so numerous airsofters have tried to fix my gun and the sound continues. So, considering im retarded when it come to fixing guns, I think im gonna have to send it in. Considering there are tons of airsoft stores, I want competitive repair prices. Who will give me the repair I need for a good price? ASGI maybe? Thanks for the help!

A high pitched winding noise is definitely the motor, I would first try replacing that. It should run you at $50 or less, its echo 1 guys. A repair shop will be a fortune, it would make more sense to just buy an entirely new AK rather than mail it AEG to ASGI.
