OK, we are getting towards the point at which we start discussing the next gun to review.

Right now I've got a few ideas and the concensus based on the youtube requests have been for the JG 552.

The web poll lists the P90 as the most desired next review, but unfortunately, Airsplat does not sell the TM version of it (Or at least its not available on their website).

Plus, retailers are more enthusiastic to get publicity for their newest, biggest selling products.

Hey guys,

I've been getting a couple of complaints about a spike in the "What gun should I get?" threads.

I understand that for the poster, this is a great thing to ask and it generates some conversation too.

I'm not going to ban this type of conversation, but I would like you all to put in some effort before you post.

If you are going to ask this type of question, please first research the type of gun you want. Thus, "M4 style from JG, Echo 1, ICS or CA".

I haven't seen anything about them yet, but ThinkGeek offers several low end guns.

They're hosted under the Geek Toys -> Cube Warfare section.

Solid metal spring pistol; smaller pistol. I haven't had any experience with it yet but it's shipped out today so I'll review when I get a chance.

Airsoft Reports needs writers!

This means you!

Here is the deal:

Airsoft Reports is my hobby and my passion, but it takes a lot of work to maintain and a fair amount of $ to keep up.

In the pursuit of making enough to keep this thing going without having to constantly drain my bank account, I need help.

Now, I am not asking for $ from you guys, instead I am merely asking those of you who have an interest in this stuff to keep doing what you are doing +.

OK, I know its early and we've had some false alarms before,

but right now it looks like well be able to get our hands on an A&K M249 SAW for testing.

Airsplat has said that it was willing to send us a sample, but of course seeing is believing so well have to wait and see.

BTW, the polls have been a great way for me to see what everyone wants next and I was amazed to see the P90 so far out in front.

Now, to the best of my knowledge, there is no E1 version of this gun yet, ...

As many of you already know we have the G36C comparison test online and its proving to be quite popular.

The next comparison test will be along the same grounds with CA vs. E1 MP5 comparison test.

After that well be doing a mini review on a Tactical Vest and from there on out it is still TBA.

I am in school full time now (As opposed to part time before) and so I have naturally been around less.

However, we are still here and still growing (nearly 1,000,000 views on You Tube!!!!!) ...

OK guys, the chat box is back...but you will have to work to make sure that it stays back.

From now on we have a list of things we don't to see.

Spamming

Obscenity

Disruptive chat

Remember, we all have to share this space and when one or two of us disrespect the rest it makes for bad times all around.

I do not want to have to remove the chat box again.

listen to the mods!!!

Above all, follow the golden rule and try to be as mature as possible!

This topic will be comparing these 2 guns, and deciding the good and bad things about both of them.

Echo 1 MP5 A4

The Echo 1 MP5 A4 was $130 at my walk in store. It combines power, accuracy and range, with an affordable price. It is fairly compact, and easy to aim and operate. It comes with a battery, charger, 200 BBs, extra plastic flash hider, instructions, and 200 round high cap mag.

PROS:

Good FPS

accuracy is very good for the price

Range is great

This post is undoubtedly going to kick off another round of "mines cost more than yours so my bbs go 400ft farther and will last for 37years"...

OK maybe thats an exageration...

I would simply like to relay my experiences and relate them to the realities of airsoft.

1. All airsoft guns operate in the same way (With a VERY FEW EXCEPTIONS). This means that they all fire a 6 mm bb (Usually wieghing .2g) at velocities rarely exceeding 400 fps (Mostly around 300-350)
