| Well, are you wanting to play an assault role or a DM role? The M14 is big and bulky and you will likely get tired of lugging it around in a skirmish. M4s have many aftermarket parts available and they are much easier to disassemble. The M14 will probably be a little more accurate, but what the M4 lacks in accuracy compared to the M14, it will make up for in size. Both guns will perform roughly the same though. Just comes down to what you like the looks of best and what you are planning on doing. _________________ Ello I am Lindsay Lohan!

| well generally i play a assault/support role as of now with my E1 vector arms mp5 and i've gotten sick of going through 200rd mags like crazy =/. Also I feel that if i got the M14 i could continue to fill this support role but also be a DM. Am I right ? And as far as the weight I could care less, I used to have the UTG L96 which was roughly the same weight, and I would play as more of a mobile sniper always moving and what not so weight and movement arent a big issue. Also as far as rof are they the same? _________________ |

| A stock M14 will not fill a DM role. (other than the TM version, but even then) With a TBB, a Systema bucking, and a SCS, you will have a very, very accurate gun that would work for a DM role. (I would suggest you bump up the fps to at least 400 though) I believe the ROF will be pretty much the same. I'm pretty sure they both have the same kind of motor. _________________ Ello I am Lindsay Lohan!

Why couldnt the G&G m14 fit a DM role?
Also, G&G M14s are EASY to disassemble. Like really easy. it uses a different gearbox type than its TM counterpart. Also, G&G m14 gearboxes are like pretty much indestructible. It should be able to handle up to a M170 with no problem, unlike a lot of v2s. Im not saying you should put a m170 spring in there, but i am just trying to tell you how strong it is =P
Oh ya, M14 mags will make you happy. They are like 500-470 rounds per mag. |

I'm saying totally stock. It really wouldn't be any more accurate than other guns unless you are playing against JGs. The so called "Tightbore" has found to be only 6.06 and is low quality compared to even a Madbull. _________________ Ello I am Lindsay Lohan!

| Yeah, a Prometheus barrel or Edgi would suit your needs. http://www.edgicustom-usa.com/#aeg_barrelsBoth the SCS and Edgi barrels can be found here. The SCS, which stands for Shredder's Concave Spacer is a hop up nub and is currently the best on the market. Combined with a Systema/Guarder bucking, it yields very good results, boosting range, fps, and tightens the groupings. Go to ehobbyasia.com for upgrades. Here's a takedown guide for the M14 http://www.airsoftforum.com/board/Gandg-M14-Takedown-gearbox-t70049.htmlM14s use an AUG hop up unit, so google "AUG hop up guide" to learn how to take it apart. Hope this helps _________________ Ello I am Lindsay Lohan!
