| Well, I am embarrassed to say I wrote before thinking. I have tested the following bbs and gotten the following Chrono readings. .12 - 430 fps .20 - 360 fps .23 - 347 fps .25 - 337 fps .28 - 312 fps I seem to have misplaced my .3s so I was not able to test this weight. So eric was more or less correct on the reduction by approx. 75 fps. However, in light of this thread I tested the accuracy at range and am feel the same way about accuracy as I did before. (It seems to top out at 150' accurately and after that I was having to "mortar" the bbs). BUT! this whole thread has lit the fire under me to try to do some wider testing on the subject of max range, accuracy etc... I dont want to hijack this thread so here is what I am thinking of doing. http://airsoftreports.editboard.com/misc-f10/real-world-airsoft-specs-test-t1300.htm#19660Regards! _________________ K0NRAD Owner and Admin of Airsoft Reports

| So, In conclusion with the gun shooting ~515fps with .20g BBs, the gun will shoot in the area of 455fps with .30g BBs and will be able to hit a man sized target at ~200` and anything past that you will need some luck to get a hit. This is with the JG BAR 10 with a DBC 6.01mm TB, Zero trigger, orange high pressure piston, Metal spring guide, and a SP150 spring. |

| You don't need all that just do the airbrake mod, my friend has done it and he could still get more FPS if he wanted. He's shooting 400 with .28's. Then just spend the rest on a hop up bucking, DBC barrel and sniper gear. _________________ Hola! I don't get on the forums much, anymore. But message me on AIM if you need some help. | Also, do I need to cut the trigger guard to fit a zero trigger? |

| So does anybody know what to do with the hop up? And if the zero trigger will fit? |

| Hard bucking, and the zero trigger will fit if its the one for the VSR-10. |

| You just replace the old bucking with the hard bucking and not the whole hop up unit right? Thanks. |

| I only know of the internals of the VSR-10, so I couldn't really tell you if you have to replace the whole unit. If it is a plastic hop up chamber, I would deffinitely change it. I would only replace the bucking. |

| The BAR 10 is an exact clone of the VSR and is compatible with all their parts, so its the same. That being said, with your knowledge of the VSR (VSR has the same hop up as BAR 10) would you need to change the whole unit or just the bucking? |

^ I said it in there. I just asked my friend what he did with his tm vsr-10 gspec. He had one and upgraded it internally with everything. I'll edit my post when I get an answer from him. |

| Just to let you know, the airbrake mod does make your gun louder. (I'm not sure how much, but it does) _________________ Ello I am Lindsay Lohan!

| Not to necro post or anything, but this is an update. I just bought my JG BAR 10 on Monday. I didn't buy it before because I didn't have the money. I bought the Army L85 instead and upgraded it,but now I'm ready for this (b/c I have a job now) so if you are interested I did a thread on Airsoft retreat: http://www.airsoftretreat.com/forums/index.php?topic=80481.0So, its all working out great so far. |
