| KWA wil no longer be producing their Glock series, possibly due to a claim by Glock over trademarks, etc. http://kwausa.com/products.htmlYou can see that they have completely dropped all mention of their Glocks from the handguns. | |

| It's about trade DRESS, not trade marks. The fact that it distinctly looks like a glock is the problem. | |

No clue what you are talking about. Are you saying KWAUSA has never listed the glocks? - Boologan wrote:

The fact that it distinctly looks like a glock is the problem. That too, I wonder if they will take this up with Mauri, etc, if they dont have some kind of deal.

| My limited understanding on this issue is that Glock is going after more than a few people, especially if they call the gun a glock. I had heard that CA is getting in trouble with their new GBB glock as well. Who knows, it could all blow over like that HK/Umarex deal which never seemed to get anywhere. I think it's one of those "tell everyone to take down their ads but don't actually do anything about it" kind of deals | |

| Its all over the place. And they still have a section for it because people who own glocks might encounter problems with them, and need assistance. | |

| I've heard this KWA glock issue has been going on for quite some time. Unless anything has actually happened, I'm wondering why this got brought up again. -Bert. | |

| Are other companies going to have to stop making glocks also? (if so I'm glad I just ordered a Glock) | |

-Bert. KWA is no longer producing glocks. Its the end to the issues that have been going on. Airsoftguy: I think CYMA is safe for now.

| ...the Kwa dont even have trades, KSC does though.
So you say theyre they just going after it because of the name used? Tough that doesnt explain why theyre stopping the M9 series as well.

| ^Because Beretta is doing the same thing as Glock.
A lot of the real gun companies are really starting going after these companies based on "Trade Dress" for the first time, instead of the normal trademark infringements.
It could cause a lot of problems, or it could be all talk. Only time will tell.

| lol, youd think the first company theyd go after would be TM seeing as they use trades as well.
Though im guessing theyre only going after US based distributor type companies (not sure what KWA is).

| That would require pursuing copyright law enforcement in another country.
KWA is an easy target as they have a large part of their company based in the US.

| Geeze the M9 series and the 1911 too?? Well this sucks because KWA pistols are some of the best gbb's on the market. I dont know where I'd be without my G19. I guess it gives me the excuse to buy the 18 I never did. So H&K has nothing in this as to let the USP production continue? | |
