Well, got bored with my DBoys M4SD as it was, so I did a minor tweak:

M4PDW - I blame lack of self control for this one- DSC_3630

M4PDW - I blame lack of self control for this one- DSC_3633

Basically, I removed the stock mock silencer and swapped it out with a Noveske Fire Pig "loudener". This necessitated a shorter barrel, so I put in one from a Galaxy MP5K-PDW. I also added on a flip up front sight and a carry handle for optics, and UTG rail covers to prevent the razor sharp rails from slicing my hands up.

The inner barrel goes right up to the flashhider, and the loudener actually does as it says, making the shot a louder, more pronounced metallic pop.

Closeup of the muzzle. Looks like a 40mm launcher, lol...

M4PDW - I blame lack of self control for this one- DSC_3632
Shot into the muzzle, inner barrel visible.

Haven't performance tested it yet, but I'm estimating FPS right at 300 or so, and 100' accuracy, making it great for CQB. Battery juice is provided by a 9.6v 2000 mAh intellect crane pack stuck in the stock.

It needs a basic reflex sight instead of the carry handle, but I don't have one, so the carry handle stays for now.

After that, things got a little nutty when a CM030 AEP G18C magically ended up on the bottom rail, like this:

Glock-pod v1.5 is now on it.

In real life, this gun wouldn't function in several ways, no gas assembly, no room for the glock to cycle, rail attached to slide, etc...

But in airsoft form, it works, and it works well. 14 RPS on the M4, 14 on the G18 = 28 RPS with two simple trigger pulls.

You'll be seeing more iterations of my glock pod in the future, as this was the VERY rough first draft.

My lowes was out of the actual rail mounts I needed, so I improvised, and in my impatience for waiting for the actual G18C rail mount to get in stock, I hard mounted a rail to the slide, which is only a temp solution.

I can still reload both guns, provided I use VN mags in the M4. Regular M4 mags are a no-go unless I mount the G18 further up.

Overall, this is my new CQB M4, and I am in love with it. It's loud, sounds awesome with both guns blazing, and is super maneuverable.
Now I have something for when my primary is too powerful and there's no time to switch to my secondary pistol. I keep my secondary on my gun, lol...

EDIT:
Scooted the G18 further up so I can use regular M4 mags. Made it a touch comfier to hold as well:

The view from the front of this thing is hilarious, because it looks like a shell fed 40mm launcher of some sort with a glock attached to it, lol...

Wow, you have way to many guns and obviously alot more spare time then I ever have but still props that looks amazing and I'm sure it'll dominate CQB.

^Yep, way too many, but it's what breeds fun projects like this.

By the way, here's a soundbite of what firing it sounds like:

http://www.mediafire.com/?7rilezelsl3

First burst is the G18, with a nearly dead battery by the way, Second burst is M4, and third is both at the same time. Great sounds from this thing, lol...

Full battery on the G18 will net another 4-5 RPS, and will get even more if I put a lipo on it like I'm planning. Imagine 20+ RPS out of an AEP Wink

For some reason the video didn't want to dl for me.

What is confusing me is the fact that your AEP slide can't move. Now, the g18c that I've seen require the slide to cycle, so how on earth are you able to shoot the thing?

Unless, the frame is moving ...which would make trigger engagement difficult.

pretty slick little rig otherwise Wink

It's a standard AEP, not an EBB.

One of these: http://pointact.com/prod_CM030_215_16.html

Metal upgradable gearbox, 240ish FPS, full auto, 7.2v nimh battery, and metal stick type mags, including a 100 round highcap.

Check them out, their loads of fun. Super reliable, cheap, full auto, quiet, and they make great project platforms.

I had one. I miss it. The range on it is surprising too. Now my question is how did you mount it without getting the metal rail system for it? Did you have to custom fit something inside the ported slide?

I hard mounted a rail to the slide, certainly not the best method, but it works. It has screws through the slide into the outer barrel.

Eventually it'll be getting the rail kit, but that's not in the budget this month, lol...
