I say you wait for the Gen 3 SRCs to come out. They are supposed to be great. I personally would take a TSD/SRC G36 over a CA anyday.

I have the CA G36K, my brother has the C series, as does another team mate. All three have been fine with no issues.

I also own two JG G36c's as well as an Echo 1 G36c (yeah I know, it's a fetish). They have also served me well with no issues. In my opinion these are the way to go as you get good quality at a cheaper price.;

I've read good reports on the TSD/SRC versions, though I've never personally used or seen one.

My best friend and teammate has a SRC G36k Gen2. The externals are of a nylon fiber sort, much better than the plastic on his JG G36c. The stock performance on the gun was fine, I would give it a 3.5/5 performance wise. ROF is quite good with a 9.6v stock. He installed a Guarder High speed motor, which is about equal RPM wise to a Systema Turbo. He also has the G&P sniper stock, and is using a G&P 10.8v battery. Right now the gun is shooting ~33 RPS.
Also he has a Promy tightbore, which improved the accuracy and range very much.

Overall, the gun is a good choice, I would take it over the JG or CA any day. KWA or Star maybe another story, yet with some upgrading this gun can be a real beast.

the external materials that SRC and CA are the most similar to the real steal
but both have cons...
CA would be their gears
and as for the SRC all i know is that the gun has a differnce in look from the real steal
only a person who is really in to the G36 would find out
btw the stock of both these guns are not true to the real steal
only STAR and DE has the correct stock
if u want any pictures i can show u

You sure about that, because I just looked at pics of the SRC and STAR and the stocks look identical

My vote is for you to wait for the Gen 3 SRCs. The internals sound great.

Sometime this year according to Booligan. The internals of the gen 3s will feature "all steel gears, aluminum cylinder, metal cylinder head, fiber
reinforced piston, aluminum piston head, and 8mm permanently greased
ball bearings. The externals are made out of high quality fiber
reinforced Nylon (just like the real deal) metal parts supposed to be
metal are metal."

I dont like the Arc I vote STAR, but I believe the star is going to be a lot more expensive seeing that many of there other guns are about 500 dollars
