Mine is a one prong (Motorolla Talkabout), I pluged it into a kinda cheap Radio Shack walky talky, it didn't work. I heard a little static and the beeping of the radio and that was it. So I'm not sure whats wrong, but I'm trying to work on it.

Buy a Motorolla Talkabout.
