Vest for G36 mags, this look okay?

I was considering getting this and then later on attaching a double and tripple AK pouch, hydration carrier, and a dump pouch.

I have a really tight budget and I'm wondering if this thing will hold up pretty well? I would like to be as mobile as possible and I go prone a lot, so do you think this will fit me pretty well? I'm about 5'-6" 120 pounds.

The vest should do you well, i dont have it or anything, but it looks good. ! question though, do you have enough mags to fill all those darn pouches?? If not you could put a water bottle or something there. Just food for thought (lol you could hide some candy in them pouches too!)

ha ha thanks and yes it's german flecktarn. I LOVE this stuff. It has "snap" buttons and a zipper, so it is much quicker and easier to get it on and off. At the end of the sleeves, it has velcro instead of buttons, so if it is too long, (like it is for me) you can tighten it around your wrist. Germans are geniuses...... I got it from weapon blender for 20 bucks (5 for jacket, 15 for used pants) Apparently this stuff is better, but I haven't seen it

I can probably fit 3 mags total into the mag pouches. I'll use those until I get money to get other pouches. Then I'll probably ditch those and put on a tripple ak mag pouch. (hopefully I can fit two per pouch for a total of 6) I'll probably ditch the other pouches also, except for the admin pouch. (maybe I can fit a speed loader in the little pocket! )

Any other opinions?

I just found this and I know it's basically a UTG crossdraw, but it holds around 6 G36 mags and has molle for the back. (and it's cheap )

Ehh, yeah. Since G36 mags are quite fat, you only can fit one in a double 5.56 mag pouch...You might be able to fit some in the side pouch and the radio pouch if you wanted though?

Well all I need to carry is about 6 mags max. (4 midcaps and 2 highcaps. One midcap in the gun)

The crossdraw style can hold 6 G36 mags. (since there are 6 double mag pouches) If I get the plate carrier, I would replace the M4 pouches with an AK triple mag pouch so I could hold 6.

What do you think I should do? The plate carrier is probably better for future use, but like I said, I have a really tight budget.

I'm pretty sure I am going to get the plate carrier, but does anyone know how it will hold up?

I finally had to get the triple AK pouches. On one side I removed the separator pouch and they fit 2 to a pouch easily. On the other side I left the separator and they fit, but are tighter.

As for the vest, I suppose it will work well.

My friend has one and it's nice. After modification, (cutting out the dividers) the vest can hold 6-8 G36 mags which is perfect for me, not to mention it already comes with a hydration carrier, and two dump pouches. (which can hold even more crapola )

All I need is a hydration bladder and I'm set.
