Bigger Batteries Empty
PostSubject: Bigger Batteries   Bigger Batteries EmptySat Nov 24, 2007 10:50 pm

Will a little bigger batery increase your gun preformance? My friend has an M4 and would like to know if a larger battery from a battery surplus would give him more power or rate of fire. Please respond.

The battery will not improve the FPS of a gun. Though a higher voltage battery with increase the ROF of a gun. Also a larger battery usually means higher mAh which means longer battery life or longer game play.

Higher mAh= Longer play time, but no performance change.

Higher voltage= Higher Rate of fire and possibly more power, but ruins the gun faster.

It increases wear on the gears and other internals.

Is that just because of the higher ROF?

Yes, because it makes everything work faster than using an 8.4. Thus causing it to work faster than it is capable of. You definitely can use 9.6 volt batteries in high-end AEG's, because it has better quality parts, like metal bushings, M120 spring, and steel gears.
