On paper the G&G is the best deal. Though i would like to exagerate that you do your own research before buying any gun.

E1 Mp5- its not worth the trouble of buying upgrades, which the G&G would have most of in the first place.

E1 RAS- i know the G&G is rated 380fps, but i dont believe this is true. But i do know the RAS does shoot 375+ fps, so if you have field FPS regulations i would not advise that you buy it. Other wise youre paying for metal that you dont really need, and could weigh you down.

After theprodigy asking for me to give input for hours in the chatbox, I have found some time to drop by.
To keep this organized and to the point, lets do a simple analization of each aeg chosen.

Mp5 A5 Xmas Special
This package includes: Bb's Red Dot Sight
For performance and body stablility, refer to the videos posted.
At a quick glance, this aeg is one of the most accurate and compact made by Echo1. The only difference that has a negitive impact on the aeg would be its lower fps than the standard Echo1, overall this will not affect the operator to a substantial amount.

GnG Mp5 A4 Xmas Special
The plastic GnG's have the exact same internals as the metal variants.
The only difference between the variants is the metal body, which is a gret benifit to have. If using the GnG Mp5, expect it to last and be the best performer of the three.

Vector Arms Mp5 A5
Not sure where to start here, this is the worst Echo1 Mp5, yet the best.
Let's start with what we don't like on this aeg. The battery compartment is horrible. The grip will only allow the stock battery, you may find an afermarket, but good luck. Now, by storing the battery in the grip, it will make the grip larger than the standard. With this model, you would have to purchase a PEQ box in order to expand your battery capabilities.

If using this Mp5, I would recommend the A4 version. However, the A4 also uses the hand grip as the battery compartment. On the other hand, it has a full stock which can store a large battery. To make this conversion, it would require basic rewiring, should not be an issue.

Plastic always feels cheesy and weak, it does not matter what others say, its plastic. When people say plastic feels sturdy, they are comparing it to other plastics, not metal. Metal will almost always have a better feel to it.

Hey I voted for the Vector because as everyone knows, echo and vector make really good and low priced guns. It is a full metal and comes with everything you need. The only thhing i personally don't like about it is the looks. If you are looking for the standard looking MP5, then definitely get the GG. Also, don' forget that this website has reviewed the echo MP5j.

I say regular MP5. Its a really great gun, good ROF great accuracy and range, good FPS and affordable. Also, comes with RDS, which will make you much more effective (Probably). The G&G is also a great gun, and looks great on paper, so it might be a better gun.

Oh, sorry, I thought he thought you were saying you narrowed it down to JG or echo1.

For the VA MP5 or the G&G metal bodied MP, I would go with the JG, because the spring IS the same.

My friend has the VA MP5

The metal is cheapy and the gun doesn't weigh much at all.

Get the G&G

The internals are better, so it will last longer

The VA MP5 has the SAME EXACT internals as other Echo 1 guns, they just put a m120 instead of the usual m110.

I feel I must post here to clear some misconceptions really quickly, to help theprodigy make a clear and concise decision.

The Becoming outlined most of what my opinions are on the situation.

Looking at the latest few posts, some of you are misinformed.

JG does not use a M120, nor does it use an M120 equivalent. The FPS on most JGs is around 365-380 once the spring has cooled down. Hypothetically, if the spring used in these JG's were M120s, then JGs would have such atrocious compression, I would not be able to think of words to describe it. M120 springs average 420 FPS, that would mean a loss of 50-60 FPS. JG springs are proprietary, and different batches produce different FPS. Some JGs could be shooting 350FPS, some could be shooting 390FPS. The same is for Echo 1, their springs are not M110s, or M110 equivalent. With an Echo 1, you could get a spring that shoots 340FPS, or you could get one that shoots 380FPS. Its not standardized. While the fluctuation in JG guns tend to be more common than in Echo 1 guns, the springs are the same.

The second misconception ties into the first. JGs and Echo 1s will neither outlast each other. Gearbox shells only need to be reinforced when you install a spring that would shoot over 400FPS. Thus, if you are a JG owner, you stand at no risk for your gearbox shell cracking before an Echo 1 gun. This does not apply to all gun though, this applies to only certain models. It is because the V3 gearbox is much stronger than its V2 counter part in standard form. Therefore, saying, "My friend's Echo 1 G36C lasted longer than my other friend's JG M16, so Echo 1s last longer." Is not only false, it is dumb, and dumb should be avoided at all costs.

Thanks for reading my book.

I can not be 100 % certain, because it was done bye my walk in store, but I believe that my TM is upgraded to an m110, and its getting around 350 FPS, which would make some of that false. The usual Echo1 vs JG argument is not really helpful, since nothing can be proved. There are only theories.

Accually I think the vector arms would be better If I re think it, I believe that most clones are same quality, or around there and FPS,
but they vector arms is full metal, which is more durable, maybe if you drop a plastic weapon it might crack or something will break, but not the metal, but the plastic is much lighter than metal

^^ Not exactly.

If it is high grade metal, then yes.

If it is pot metal like in the case of the VA Echo 1's then you still have a chance of breaking the receiver with a hard enough drop.

Yeah that is true, probably high grade metal, I hope, or then the buyer will be mad since it is low quality metal, and the extra weight
if they get that lets hope for the best!!

For my TM MP5 I had a bungee sling (stretchy type) I jumped of a ledge, the sling stretched down, hit a rock, and badly chipped my foregrip, I fixed it and bought a new sling, what happened was that my sling was for a Assault rifle, so it was to big, if you get a sling, make sure it is the right size, also it is still cool to have a metal gun, it gives you a really good feelling when you hold it, as if you are in the movies lol

Ok, some people are saying things here, and I am a little confused. AKA, I don’t know if some people know what they are talking about. I am not trying to start any wars here. I just want to make sure that people looking for certain guns get the right facts and opinions.

The Becoming wrote:

Let's start with what we don't like on this aeg. The battery compartment is horrible. The grip will only allow the stock battery, you may find an afermarket, but good luck. If using this Mp5, I would recommend the A4 version. However, the A4 also uses the hand grip as the battery compartment. On the other hand, it has a full stock which can store a large battery. To make this conversion, it would require basic rewiring, should not be an issue.

Are you sure about the A4 battery placement? Where did you learn this? If you look at both versions the a5 has a battery shaped grip while the a4 has a more normal round one. I don’t think a battery could fit in there (the a4 version grip). I surmise that it goes in the full stock. Maybe you are right; I am just using the picture as my basis. But, the battery placement on the a5 does look like a pain.

The VA MP5 has the SAME EXACT internals as other Echo 1 guns, they just put a m120 instead of the usual m110.

Huh, I am kinda confused. Why would you say that when back in your g36 review you say this?>>>

Stealthmasterairsofter14 wrote:

BODY- Very sturdy, no creaks or bends. The plastic feels VERY durable and there is a decent amount of metal on the gun. I like the feel of this gun better than an E1 VA MP5 A4 because it is not too heavy. My friends VA MP5 felt heavy and hard to maneuver and IT’S AN MP5!

I think you should clarify about the weight thing. Because I would like to know myself how the weight is on the vector mp5.

And>>>The VA MP5 has the SAME EXACT internals as other Echo 1 guns, they just put a m120 instead of the usual m110. As others (omd) have said this is not true, especially the spring thing. I have seen the internals of this gun and they are not EXACTLY the same. One nice thing echo has preinstalled in the model is a sector clip to help the mags run smoother.

And about vector mp5s made of pot metal thing. Do you know for sure it is pot metal? I have NO IDEA if it is. I am just asking where you learned this (not why you infer this, I know that because of the price this makes total sense). But I think it would be best to ask mp5a5ras.
