| I am not sure, it might be less reliable, because they did not pick up weaknesses from the gun, since it is only the first version of the 614, so they couldnt perfect it any more. The other ones are better, because all the old echo 1s are now like version 3, and each year they become more reliable, and better | |

| The v3's, are just the same guns with added things like a metal spring guide, metal bushings, and metal shims. There are no extreme modifications to the gun. All the 614 is, is a V2 Echo1 gearbox in the body of a hk416. It should perform the same as there M4s. | |

| Well, I have heard, from a someone, that the internals, on each version is newer, and now are put together much better, and have a longer life, and reliability, for upgraded gearboxes, and minor build modifications, ECHO 1 v3s have a less chance of jamming. | |

| Since the 614 was just released wouldnt it have the same advancements as the other the models that are already v3's? The olny differencce between their models are the bodies, all components of the gearbox should be the same. | |

| Ok, the Echo1 HK416 is a BEAST. I have shot one and the one I shot chrono'ed at 430 with a tightbore. I'm planning on getting one in the next few months. They are the best gun Echo1 has come out with yet, hope AirsoftReports will do a review on this TOP NOTCH GUN. The gear box is different, its black and better. The gears are better. It has a metal spring guide and metal bushings stock. It also has a polycarb piston. The motor seems to be stronger considering its pulling like an m130-140. The gun shoots really hard anda should last quite a long time but the heavy spring will shorten the lifespan. ttyl guys | |

| The gun was probably upgraded. 430 fps out of the box is like systema speeds. and trust me I have a systema. so it does probably not shoot 430, but it seems that the internals are better, bsed on what you said, if they are not upgraded | |

on precisionairsoft.com, the fps is rated 430 also........... so, for some reason the gun is shooting very hot.

| if it shoots like that, I wonder how long the life is of the gun, something that shoots that high velocity and will have a long life, should have a internal mechbox like a systema, VFC KWA, and/or G&G | |

| Ok, I played against it today. The gun was shooting noticeably hotter than my G&G M4, and airsoftgi chrono'd it at 410.
However, I had the edge in ROF as I felt comfortable enough with my guns internals to use a 9.6. Mid end internals+410 fps+ 9.6 batt=broken gun.
Overall, I really like the gun, it looks and performs like a monster, but I think for 200 you can get a much better gun.

| Pretty cool, but I think that it is good for its price, since a good gun will accually be, probably for a TM at least 230, for a pretty cheap price | |

| I didnt say that it isnt good for the price, but I can see where you got that now.
Let me clarify: The gun is good, but there are a few better guns for the same price, such as the nylon fiber G&Gs

| Konrad said it best in the last video. Its your investment, if you want it, and it was a reputable company behind it, get it. | |

| the echo1 614 otu of the box shoots 420, im not joking, some fields only allow aeg to be under 400fps, is there a way i can toon it down a little bit???-----Would the Echo1 Mp5 Vector Amrs with the full stock be a better buy, please explain...
You could get lower fps by leaving it for a day or so with the spring compressed.
