| In general, I've had better experiences with WELL than UTG. (sorry that I can't comment on the EXACT gun, but hope this helps) | |

| http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UTGRead the first little part. Basically UTG is a rebrand of the same gun and is sold with different accessories, trades, etc. The WELL and UTG L96 are the exact same gun, just under different brands (same manufacture though). I would go with WELL because they come with a scope and bipod (the utg has a bipod and sling, but no scope). I own the UTG and I've never had a problem with it and it actually exceeded my expectations, but why not get the WELL and get the extra scope. Either way, you'll still get the same decent sniper. Oh and as far as weight the stock guns weigh: 8.5-L96 and 9.5-PSG (lbs.) Both guns definately have heft and my L96 with the bipod and high end scope (which add another 2-3 pounds) is not exactly light so dont expect a featherweight sniper. | |

| Yeah, but is the UTG (WELL) easy to cock, because I dont want to get Jason (my friend) a gun, that is hard to cock. (if he shares it with his younger brother) | |

| It is, but if your prone you have to hold it against your shoulder and pull it back. | |

| Yes and no. Out of the box it will be, definately, but once you break it in (500 +rounds) and swap out the stock grease it'll slide like butter. It measures a 25 lb cocking effort, but like I said once you add some extra lube and put it through some paces it'll be easy. If you're strong enough to carry it around, you'll be able to cock it fine. | |

| Well, is it like as heavy as a ECHO 1, M4, it should be since it has a lot of plastic, I just wanted to know, how easy it is to cock, because I dont know the ECHO 1 M4, (his older brother has a M4) (he younger brother is 10) do you think he can handle the L96? | |

| Its heavier than any stock Echo 1 M4 variant. The L96's stock is heavy abs but other than that the rest of the gun is metal, making it (with a scope) at least 2-3 pounds heavier than any echo1 m4. This is NOT a gun a 10 year old can handle. I wouldnt even put it in someones hands unless they were 13 and up just based on the power alone, but regardless the heft and pre-broken in cocking effort is way too much for a 10 year old. | |

| well, if someone can hold a E 1 M4, they should be able to cock it, (hold it upright) because, they play at my place, and it is not very fair that I always either pick them off with a systema or PSG1 | |

| Well yeah they could do it once but doing it multiple times while shouldering it non-prone would probably be too much for someone younger or who has no muscle. I even get muscle fatigue while playing games when I dont use the bipod and I'm not a small guy. | |

| And thats why the TM PSG1 works like magic!!! except you get the muscle fatigue from carrying it for more than a hour | |

| I have a question, is the fps of the UTG the same as the Well. And is the magazine the same because i think that UTG has a straight one and Well has one that has a bend. | |

Next time, read all the posts on the thread before asking something that was already answered. And as far as the mag: same gun=same mags. In fact, that same one mag is compatible with the UTG, Well, T. Marui, and even the Tanaka L96. | |

| Is the Well the same as the TSD Tactical one? Because the local store only has the TSD version. | |

| TSD (or Team SD) is a company that simply imports and resells airsoft guns (similar to Echo-1). They dont manufacture these guns and admit to rebranding. That being said, I'm 99.99% sure its the same exact weapon. | |

| Check this web page out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Airsoft_ManufacturersYou can see that there are a few manufacturers, and I figure most are identical, and re-branded by different companies both in and outside of China, and Taiwan. It is like the car companies here in the US. General Motors makes all the cars "branded" as Chevrolet, Pontiac, GMC, Buick etc... So it seems that some TSD guns are different than the UTG, yet others sold by these same companies are identical. One thing I learned about most overseas companies, is that they don't have, or perhaps don't enforce any patent laws. Anything made by one person/company can be copied without any fear of retribution. In Iraq for instance, we could buy plenty of "oakley" sunglasses, or "Nike" shoes, or other such items that were absolutely not authentic. I myself have a couple of nice watches that look exactly like like their real cousins, but cost me no more than $50.00 total. Over there it is perfectly legal. | |
