| For some reason airsplat's link to the L85 is messed up, but I finnaly found a working one. http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERM-ARMY-R85A1.htm. Now to the guns. I would personally go with the M4. I have this gun and it destroys the Echo 1s I play against. You could then use a 9.6 with more confidence for a higher RoF. And as for mags, the both take Armalite, so there is no advantage there. The plastic is great(for plastic) and the internals are standard G&G, so they are excellent. | |

| Go L85. I like the M4, but to many people use that gun. I like the L85, even though it looks fairly wierd lying on the ground, but in someones hands, it looks pretty awsome. The gun itself has a blowback kit, which runs the battery down quickly, so you might as well turn it off. (pulling it back)
The m4 on the other hand, is probably more reliable, and is very good, since it is a G&G. The only thing that flusters me is that it is plastic, and is 100 dollars less than the regular. Maybe there might be something more than a plastic covering different to a regular G&G, maybe not.
Both new guns, I can help you with the L85 once my friends one arrives that he just ordered.
The G&G has higher FPS, the L85 says it is 330, but it is around 320

| Well this gun is going to have to last me a while so I am really un-decided now. I love both guns. Im gonna lay out the pro's and con's of each. L85- Different looking, Metal Body, good internals, blowback. M4- Really Strong PLastic, All American, More reliable, better internals, higher FPS. Right now, the G&G seems to be winning. Is there anything I am missing? | |

| How would the internals compare to each other. Which would be the easiest to upgrade and which would last me longer. I hear, i forget from where, that the L85 has a two part gearbox s wouldn't that make upgrading and replacing harder? | |

| I think the L85, since it is different, and it looks much cooler once you get it in your hands.
Isnt the M4/M16 designed in by a Canadian?

| I would get the M4 also. I've never heard of the brand Army before and I don't see any other guns that they make. (is this there first AEG?)
You are for sure getting a great gun if you buy the M4. The army could be risky for many reasons. (for one it's an off brand)

| ^Army also makes arguably the best low priced MPEG AK47. It's not as good as the higher priced MPEGs, such as the latest Cyma offerings, but it is better than the CM028 in basically all regards.
Honestly, both should serve you well, so just pic the one that you feel you will be happiest with.

| I would go G & G, their internals are better, Airsoft international magazine gave the L85 a 3/5 for its internals, so onll OK internals. | |

| The only difference between the plastic G&G's and the metal G&G's is the motor. There is less torque in the plastic versions. | |

idk, because with a 9.6 volt, the plastic M4's are shooting at around 1000-1100 rpms at 380 fps.
