It’s a Crosman springer so you were doomed from the get go. A friend got some spring rifle from them, their MP5 model I think, and it broke within a week of good use. He even told me about another story about an Uzi by them not lasting long at all either. Crosman makes very decent bb guns, .177 metal bb's that is, but I'd stay away from their airsoft line like the plague. As far as cleaning your new AEG, whichever you decide on, the answer is YES esp. if you care about its longevity and maintaining performance. Even low-tier AEG's can always benefit from the occasional clean. It depends on use, but even a thorough clean every couple months or so helps in the long run and it also helps you familiarize yourself with the gun's structural details making you more knowledgeable about your gun when it eventually starts to have problems.
