A friend of mine just ordered a JLS E03 of www.pointact.com. Somehow, he thought it was a Tokyo Marui. Does anyone know if this brand is any good?

It's not a bad gun, just needs a little love to be great. If he plans on using midcaps, he needs to grind part of the bb retention spring housing down to clear the gearbox. The stock hop-up rubber sucks, and should be replaced eventually. There are several threads on sights like ASRetreat that cover the gun in detail.

Thanks guys. I have no idea how he got the impression it was a TM. They dont even sell TMs on that site. lol

I've seen someone turn it into a proper F2000, complete with scope/firing computer, and an EGLM, all made from scratch. Almost inspired me to buy one and do the same, but I'm way too backlogged with projects to start another one, lol...
