| I've wanted an EBR for a while now and while in my heart I want a G&G M14 walnut stock I dont want to spend the 500 bucks I'll need to get it and everything I want for it. Ergo, I'm leaning towards this: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=3369Now I know the Echo1 comes with metal bushings/spring guide and an extra mag but the 70 dollar difference isnt worth it to me I guess, plus I like the silver in the KART. I'm getting a second mag and the echo-1 spring bipod and depending on a drug deal (kidding) I might splurge and get an EOTech for it just for giggles (I could always use it on another gun). Anyone know if this has a threaded end so I can swap the flash hider? I have read/watched a good number of reviews and have my own opinions and thoughts on the gun so I was just opening up a thread for you guys, ESPECIALLY if you have any kind of experience with the weapon. | |

| As Far as I am concerned, unless someone can prove the Echo 1 is different internally, I consider them the same, you should to.
As for getting an EOTech, are you looking for a replica, or are you going real steel?
As for the gun, basically an improved KART M14 in a EBR body. Internally could use some work, especially in the ROF department, but if you are using this weapon as a DMR, you should be fine. Best immediate upgrades I could recommend are:
New battery TB Hop up bucking(I use a laylax bucking with a element H nub in all of my guns, works extremely well) | |

| If I do, I am definately getting a rep EOT cuz I dont want to spend more than 100 bucks (and when it comes down to it I might just settle for an ACOG or even the Aimpoint I have on my mp5). I am considering a high-mag scope but we'll see as I hear the aim mount close to the stock sights is flimsy and small and mounting it on the regular rail more to the front will be pointless as it looks too far away to support a scope's FOV relief. Tightbore is pretty much a given but I want to see firsthand what the gun can do before I mod it internally, same goes for the hop-up. The battery will also depend on performance tests since it comes with a 9.6v but the mAh is kinda low (1500 I believe) so maybe. Thanks for the tips though. | |

| So I got my silver EBR in today and its a beauty. I wont have time to take it out into the field until this weekend maybe but I'll try putting up a detailed review by the end of the month, time allowing. This gun gave me a few surprises, both positive and negative, but I will go into all that when I put my review up. Overall, even though I've only had it for a day and only put about 400 rounds through it, I LOVE this gun and its easily the best AEG I have actually owned to date. Until my review, here's a pic of it to wet your appetite: Please note that what you are seeing as far as accessories is actually a ruse save for the bipod lol. I got medium profile scope rings instead of high profile and medium's just wont cut it so this is just me setting the scope/rings on the mount w/o fastening them down. I have highs coming this week. Same for the mock silencer, as the outer barrel is clockwise and all the silencers/f.hiders I already own care counter. That one you see is barely hanging on the tip. I have to hunt down an adapter, but thats pretty much what it will all look like unless I decide to custom paint it. | |

| Nice gun. Looks cool, but it is pretty flashy for a gun, with the silver | |

| Too bad we didn't stay in touch SW, if you wanted an M14 with a Walnut stock for cheap, could of just got a CYMA M14, with a stock form ebaybanned, or gunner. Oh well, im not a huge fan of EBRs, but this one looks darn sexy with the barrel extension, and optics. M14+Optics= Uber Pwnage | |

| If you ask me it really doesn't look too much like an M14 any more except for a few key parts. Don't get me wrong, i really like the gun. | |
