Yeah I don't really see the point on spending 80 bucks for a scope when my gun only costs 150-200..........

| My thought is you should never by an accesory for your gun that costs around half of the guns over all value. | |

lol... I regularly toss a replica EOTech and Gen1 NV monocle on my guns, mostly because I like having accessories that cost double or triple the gun... I've seen someone at my field with literally $900 worth of accessories on a $120 gun. Good times, good times...

| Why not just get a 900 dollar gun with a perfectly fine 30 dollar red dot? | |

| ^Because those $900 worth of accessories perform much better than a $30 red dot. IIRC, he had an EOTech 551, Gen2 NV with proper mount, IR laser, and surefire M900. That was his night setup. He uses all of that stuff on his RS M4, so I guess that justifies it | |

| Meh, I honestly, don't like M4s. I like unconventional and unusual weapons. My last gun purchase was a .50 caliber muzzleloader kit. I wanted to build my gun Next up is either a KRISS Civvy or a SOC16. And now that you mention it, pretty much my whole collection is currently up for sale, so if anyone wants anything, make me an offer. | |

| ^With the right user, you can absolutely destroy someone with a cheap gun. Having the right accessories helps that user be even more devastating. Imagine having someone be able to see your every move in pitch black moonless night, keep an accurate bead on you, wait for you to get into range, and take you out before you even knew what happened. That's what you can do with the right user/accessory combo | |

| if you have a site, can you list all the guns on a web site, or can you pm me?
you know the civilian night vision goggles, mine are to big for me, and they are unconfortable, the flashlight doesnt really help, The night vision works once you grow into it... it is adjustable, but it is pretty cheap for night vision, so it doesnt adjust very well. and I cant use my dads.

| true, but I was thinking more about day time.
In night time, I agree, you would definitely be able to destroy people, especially if they don't have night vision.

| Off the top of my head, the list is like this: TM Famas ACM 8mm gas shotgun DBoys SPR DBoys M4SD Echo 1 M1014 shotgun TSD M500 shotgun JG 552 and maybe a few more. I want to hold on to some of them, namely my AKs, G3SG1, UTG M4, SRC 416, and SRC M4. Some of my other ones are already being given to my little brother in law. | |

| OFF topic people, if you two wish to continue your conversation please use PMs. Anyway, get what you want if you dont care about the internals too much go ahead with the VA AK. Otherwise if you absolutley must have above par internals get the G&G. | |

| Overall, the G&G probably will last longer, and has better internals, and the VA wont last as long, besides that they are both Great guns for the money | |

- It is removeable but If you want to remove it to put a scope on, I reccomend you not to because if you do, the front sight is in the way, if you take that off you will be fine. If you get a scope, mount it on the carrying handle, but it has to be a specialized M4/M16 scope
Basically all of that is wrong you can put a scope on the M4 fine without putting it on top of the carry handle and the front sight does not get in the way away. No offense but will you please do some more research before posting.

| Ok, I'm shutting this argument down once and for all: 1 M4 with 2-9x40 scope, using ultra low mount scope rings Sight should block picture entirely, right? Nope, you can still see the target and crosshairs just fine. The foggyness in the pics is because I had to use manual focus, and my UV filter on my camera does that when its out of focus. If I'm just looking through the scope, there is no foggyness like you see in the pics. Now, you CAN see the front sight if you hold the scope far away from your eye and try to focus on the sight, but with normal use, it's practically invisible. You may occasionally see a very out of focus blur on the bottom of the sight picture, but it won't block the sight image. Bear in mind again that this is using the lowest scope mounts you can get. Anything higher and the front sight will be even more out of frame, and it'll be much more comfortable. These low rings give me a neck ache on an M4 Can we drop this discussion now? | |

| No zooms might be a problem, but then you could get the rail for over the carry handle, or something to raise it up a little higher, but for pretty much anything that zooms you shouldn't have a problem. | |
