E1 Steyr AUG

I really like AUGs and I was just curious about this one. Airsoft reports tested the fps on the JG AUG (one with the rail) and it was only about 310-320. ASGI rates the E1 version at 350. I'm wondering if the E1 is really more powerful. If it only shoots at 310-320, I'm definitely not going to even consider buying it.

Your first question to yourself should be, Why not just get the JG AUG military?

There is a 40$ price difference here, and all your getting with the Echo 1 is a prettier box. And as Booligan has highlighted before, there is the ever looming chance that you will just get a JG gun in an Echo 1 box, or an Echo 1 in a JG box.

My friend got a Echo 1 G36c, when he bought a JG G36c. He saved 25$ .

I would suggest that you give it some thought before spending more to get the Echo 1. Considering it is priced at about the same price as the G&G nylon fiber series.

I'm just curious if E1 has the manufacturer put a more powerful spring in the E1 version.

So what is the fps of the gun? is it 350 or 310s?

Probably 350, there is always the possibility that they did put in a more powerful spring

My JG AUG civilian shoots 356 fps otb
the main reason i have seen lower fps in the AUGs is because of either bad compression or the gun needed to cleaned
So expect the echo 1 augs to shoot about 350 fps
