| Ok well I just had a birthday and now I have a lot of money. No its not all for my brithday. So I have a total of 500$ maybe 700$ if a guy buys one of my guns. I was thinking that I want a gbb pistol and a high end AEG. I am not very good at upgrading so that rules out TM. And I am not great with gearboxes so out goes CA. I have had bad expriences with G&G. So this leaves it down to kwa. But recently Emokid on these forums told me about Guarder and I was wondering what I should get a KWA armalite or Guarder armalite. I am looking for help from someone who has delt with these guns hopefully somebody can help me *cough*Booligan*cough*

| For me, I would go with KWA. No distinct reasoning, it's just that I don't have any substantial experience with either, and the KWA seems to be a better gun, according to the few people that I trust.

| Well I think I am going to have to go with the KWA G36c because I have a G&G M16 and a JG M4. Also does anyone know about the reliablility of these guns?
I really appreciate all of the help

| If you are happy with the reliability of a G&G then you will be Happy with the KWA, The KWA is very very reliable, using bad bbs, and jams are a regular problum, but it NEVER has a gearbox problem. IT is a VERYgood gun. | |

| Have you ever played with/against this gun?
I personally would go G&G, the new guns they make have been out longer than KWAs, and have been reliable for that time.

| Yeah, with the KWA, I was saying that i has great internals, like the G&G, unless you were talking to someone else, I even think that the KWA might be better than the G&G | |

It's questionable since they haven't been out very long. They shoot faster and support a lipo, but they aren't as accurate as G&G. Both guns have there ups and downs. (G&G's probably have a stronger metal body) right now, there isn't really a right or wrong gun. They both perform great and the KWA should last a while. (maybe longer than the G&G and maybe shorter)

| Ok STOP all of you are wrong first off the G&G is not reliable BOTH G&G's I have had suck. They only work sometimes and when they do its only with a fully charged 9.6v battery. My M16's mag catch came apart in the first game I played. Also the hop up is a pain to access in the middle of a game on the M16. By FAR the KWA is more accurate and has better range hop up and everything. The G&G might have a tightbore but it still is not very accurate. | |

| Woah.... thats a surprise, ok BOT Im still on the KWA side, I have heard that the KWA M4 is better than the KWA G36, but I could be wrong. I have used a KWA M4, and bought a KWA G36, but than I sold it before opening. | |

| If you have the money, i would buy a lipo battery. The new KWA's are lipo ready so that would increase performance. But be careful, they can blow up if you overcharge them. | |

| ^Lipos need a special smart charger, and pretty much every quality lipo battery includes one. But I've been hearing a ton of reports of KWA guns shredding internals on 11.1v lipos, so if you do lipo it, go for the 7.4v, to be safe. Ironically enough, Lipo batteries only really vent if they are run too low, not charged too much. And the videos of people blowing up lipo batteries on youtube are pretty much worst case scenarios. Sure, if you heat it up to 200 degrees, charge it, and hit it with a hammer, it'll probably blow up... People have been using lipo batteries safely for years. You have to be pretty damn stupid to blow one up on accident. EDIT: Voltage typo...

No such thing. The cells are 3.7v each, so they don't come in 8.4v. Please try to avoid giving advice on something you know nothing about. I've been working with lipo batteries for years in the RC sector, I know what I'm talking about Not meaning to be rude, but there is the potential for some really bad advice being tossed around when you're talking about lipos. The output of a 7.4v lipo battery is about the same as a really good 9.6v normal battery, so yes, I say stick with a 7.4v lipo.

| Oh, sorry, my friends TM p90, runs on a battery which I believe is a lipo, since he uses a RC charger to charge it. Also it has a wierd looking wire connection. So I guess that could be a lipo. | |

| ^You can charge regular batteries on RC chargers, as our batteries ARE RC car/plane/copter batteries.
Easiest way to find out if it's a lipo is to look at it. It will say "Lithium Polymer" on it, plus it will be just plain tiny. Lipo batteries are tiny compared to regular batteries of similar output. also, lipos have two sets of wires coming out, one to plug into the gun, and one to charge it. Lipo chargers have a special plug on them. THe wierd connection you saw may have been the charge plug, or it could have been a Deans connecter or something of the sort on a regular battery.

| I think it was a Lipo, but he did put same tape on it, but it was smaller than an 8.4 but his battery was accually much better than my 8.4 1500 mah battery for my MP5 | |
