| Ok, some ops have these mil-sim games, and my friends are starting to play it, which I think to make it more real, get a AK. So by the way. I was thinking of buying the Real Sword Type 56. http://www.airsoftextreme.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=364_271&products_id=3589But i have heard it isnt that great, it is realistic in the features, but the internals of real swords suck, so I dont know if it is true or not. I did not bring this up with a AEX person, since they will probably say that I should just get it etc... I have heard that the new E1 VA Aks are better, and VFC makes great AKs to If there are other AK brands that are better please tell me. | |

| do they make Good AKs? because the people at AEX, since I just called them says that there is no more realistic AK that matches the Type 56, the mechbox is a thing of beauty and it almost shoots immediatly after you shoot, like the systema. Also, its made out of wood and steel, and if you are playing with knives there is a plastic bayonett at the end | |

| Well, I have a friend who has the G&G AK-74 or 101 or whatever they call it. It is an amazing gun. If you are just going for realism, then go with the real sword. But as everyone knows, G&G's are good performers so be expecting a good gun if you get the G&G. TSD also makes some AK's and I have heard good things about those. | |

| Well, I am going for a high end more reliable brand, the G&Gs do sound good, but I am not sure compared to the real sword... | |

| I know, but I have heard that the Real Sword shoots like a systema, with now trigger lag, and the G&G does, and now I am used to no trigger lag, or a half trigger pull shot, When another gun sometimes doesnt shoot. But I will put the G&G on the top of my list. | |

| ^You can get rid of trigger lag on any gun, just use a high torque motor, good wiring, deans plugs, and a good battery.
As for the Real Sword, on all the ones I've seen tested, the hop-up was faulty, causing the FPS to drop to the 150s when turned on. This was on 4 different guns from 4 different stores.
If you buy a Real Sword, don't do it know, wait until they fix the bugs.

| I have also heard from people at the WNYAL that the VFC is one incredible gun. From the pictures I've seen of it, it looks very solid and extremely detailed. | |

the VFC The VFC is made out of wood, and steel. Serial numbers. and is pretty sexy . I have heard that VFC is much better than G&G, but I cannot believe that myself, since G&Gs, always have been very good.
and the G&G http://www.airsoftextreme.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=364_269&products_id=2323 I am now toward the G&G side since it does not use a stick battery. Also the G&G is a full stock, not the U which I dont like as much. Lol, G&G has not always been very good. If i do remember hearing correctly they had poor QC, and it was not a surprise for people to get a lemon. Though since then i will say it seems as though G&G has stepped up their game, and have improved. VFC on the other hand had only one mess up, and that was their HK416, which had several problems. None of those problems exist anymore, and their AK series has not produced any problems that ive heard of. In which case you cant go wrong with either, if you dont want to spend so much go with the G&G, if you want a more realistic AK go VFC. Either way you arent sacrificing quality.
