Should I get the JG m16a4(ris) or the A&K m16a4(ris)? I know the A&K is full metal, however which one has better internals?

A&K is much better in this case.

Their new internals are great, and the externals are much better than the JG. The JG has a plastic body and a crappy RIS (2 M4 RIS attached, gets loose easily).

The new A&K's (This, and the SR25's) have very well built gearboxes and great performance out of the box. They need a reshimming according to most user reports, so make sure you are somewhat comfortable with internals if you get the A&K.

If it were me, I would get the A&K. The pros outweigh the cons.

I read that the m16a4 shoots hot out of the box, is that correct? What would be the average price for a reshimming job (i dont trust myseld with gearboxes) Should I Buy a tightbore for it?

Reshim job at most shops should cost about $50, but don't expect them to do that great of a job. They will probably do a better job than the gun came with, but not the best.

A tightbore barrel is always a good idea.

As for FPS, all the ones I've seen shoot over 400 FPS, and use an M120-M130 spring, so yep, it shoots pretty hot.

Hong Kong, lol...

The guns just hit the US market in the last month or so, so everyone's prices are high right now. The guns themselves from the distributors are cheap (I almost walked away with an SR25 from UK Arm's booth at MTO show for $90) but everyone marks them up because they can. It's economics, and they have every right to, but once more stores have them, the price should drop.

I expect seeing them below $160 in the next 2 months.

OK sounds good. I need this soon. Ordering from HK isn't that bad even with shipping: Total it comes out cheaper. Shipping is really fast to, so I might do that...

Also my local airsoft store gets all the new releases before most other stores. They have the new echo 1 g3 with the metal body (not the ris, and has a different mag style) The got the A&K a month or two ago, but they sold out quickly...

The A&K In my experiance is a piece of crap. The whole barrell is attached to the RIS. My friends whole front half fell off while playing the first game, and there was no way to put it back on. Until we found a metal bar, a single hooked metal bar, holding the whole barrell on. there was a turning "thing" on top, that we used a knife to turn it, and it seemed to make the bar go in further, but to this day, its still not fixed.

Um, the barrel on that gun is attached via the delta ring, like every other AR, so either your friend broke the front of the receiver in half, or somehow redesigned the entire attachment system to an inferior design, lol...

The barrel is attached to the receiver by a large metal delta ring, which is screwed into the receiver. The RIS is then attached to the delta ring and the front gas block. It's a very sturdy system. How your friend's "fell off" is beyond me. Some pics would be helpful, as it kind of sounds fishy to me. I've had 3 of these apart, and there's nothing even close to what you're describing.

It has been about a year now. It is silver. Also it was NOT a SPR, it was a similar design

check the troubleshooting section

Then it's a totally different gun. The A&K SPR's have only been out for a few months, not a year.

And since he is asking about the full metal gun, and the gun that your friend has is not full metal (they weren't making them a year ago) then your observation isn't really valid or pertinant to the discussion at hand.

That's like saying don't buy the TM AK74 because the TM Famas is creaky...

I know that you want to add your $0.02 to every discussion, but if you don't have any experience with the exact gun or topic at hand, then it's best not to comment, to prevent the conveyance of bad info.

I say get the JG M16 just my opinion though because my JG has had no problems whatsoever and JG's keep improving.
