| He wants an AK-47 and doesn't want to spend over a 200. The JG/E1 Aks aren't the greatest. | |

Um, the CYMA AK's are the best ACM AK's out right now. And the VA AK47 IS a rebrand of the CYMA, so, they must think so too...

| I knew CYMA wasn't bad anymore! So it is a great choice then? I win lol Is it just good for a cheap AK-47, or is it a good gun compared to any ACM? | |

| It's a good gun compared to pretty much ANY AEG. Yes, the super high ends will be better, but the CYMA will perform well and look good too. I have the 031 and 035 (albeit the Echo 1 version of the 035) and they are both awesome guns. Really top notch products. | |

| What model AK was it? Probably plastic gearbox? Anything before the CM028 was garbage. The 28 was decent, the 31 great, and the new lines are literally some of the best ACM guns on the market now.
CYMA overall is a great company now.

| i'm not sure it was bout 3 years ago i think i haven't purchased from them because of my lack of faith in there guns for a couple of years now. if they are what you say they are then i guess thats a good choice on getting that AK however i'd look into other mags,.... ones that aren't plastic and mabye look and see if you could get higher quality hand grips or stocks. i'm not terribly hard on my guns but i have cracked plastic for grips and i personally think that the plastic stocks wiggle more, on my G36 the stock is part metal part ABS and is very sturdy, folded or open. | |

| If it was 3 years ago, chances are it was one of their LPEGs, most likely the CM022. Those were crap.
You can put your faith in them now, because they are pretty much a totally different company.
Their new AKs are full metal and wood, or with high grade polymer stocks and grips on the more modern based guns, rivaling a lot of the "high end" guns. They also use full metal magazines, unless they are the ones that are supposed to be plastic, like the AKM and AK74.
With ACM guns, you can't judge their current products by stuff older than 1 year old, because they evolve their products so rapidly and completely. You would be good buying a CYMA product now.

| Totally true, last time I shot a CYMA Ak-47 it was... beautiful it was like shooting a TM about 100 bucks cheaper. The it doesnt feel like it works as smoothly, but you could feel the sturdiness.
It is much better, than the CMO30 glock, which I thought was one of the worst AEPs ever (OpinionsDiffer)
Or the older CYMA rifles.

| They are pretty much the same, also about 50 bucks cheaper. Performs the same, and they really are the same gun. | |

The 031 has much lower FPS than most new JGs (340ish FPS vs 400+), and will probably last longer. CM031s lasting 150k rounds+ stock is not uncommon. And no, CYMA and JG aren't the same gun, BUT the new Echo 1 AKs are rebranded CYMAs.

| I was comparing to E1 not JG My bad if you mis understood me, I took that E1 rebrands CYMA AKs from a earlier post.
Also my fault for saying something, and partly taking credit for something you said earlier
