| It's a WE Hicapa with a standard 1911 slide. The 1911 slide is lighter than the HiCapa one, so it cycles faster and has better blowback.
The difference will be small, but if you want a unique gun, go for it.

| meh. for the money you'd be better off getting a full sized 5.1. $130 for a 4.3 frame with a standard slide stinks of marketing hoopla because you're paying an extra 30 bucks for such a minute difference. Especially on a WE, high cycle rates mean NOTHING because the mags cool quicker than any others I've tried so trying to empty the mag in two seconds will kill your power. Double taps will be pretty much the same too, trust me. If you're looking for gas economy and a fast cycle, I'd say look into a Dragon coupled with a C02 mag (less slide+less cool down burps, not to mention fiber-optic sights and a more unique overall look than a reg. 1911), but the single stack 1911's have been more reliable in my own experience, and a lot less of a pain to load as well. If its still all about the cycle rate, look to KWA or invest in C02 mags. | |

| ^Only problem with the Dragon is after some use (especially with a CO2 mag) the slide pretty much WILL break, and will fly at your face with great speed, lol.
There isn't enough slide material to be strong enough for CO2 use, and I've seen my share of them break with normal use.
My mag experience is kind of opposite yours. My single stacks cool down much worse than my hi-capas. The Hi-capa only cools down for me after about 10 rounds rapid fire, while the single stacks cool after about 5.

| Ah I just checked and I have the high flow valves on my hicapa mags. Still, the single stack ones I have used did not cool down quick at all. In any case, I haven't encountered slide problems with my Dragon yet, but I also haven't tried it with C02 either. I still say look to KWA pistols because their mags exhibited the best performance I've used and their slides are light and they are well constructed. I saw some KJW single stacks released on ASGI that might warrant a look as well. | |

| I have the we hicapa 5.1k and it works just fine, i bought it for $95 and have had no problems, now as for the slide flying off, well i have yet to use a co2 mag and i sure hope it doesn't happen to me, IMO, buy the regular one and buy another mag and a holster with the $$$ you save. | |
