| The following is from my a local forum, and is all real... "Big thread over at Arnie's right now: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=147383 Long story short, eBaybanned, JLS, DBoys, and possibly A&K were all recently raided by Chinese officials, who confiscated all their equipment, molds, and any guns in the store/factory. eBaybanned's owner, Paul, was taken into custody by the Chinese police and his store has been forced to close down. DBoys was apparently hit hard as well, and JLS managed to somewhat escape by destroying a lot of evidence (i.e., molds, unshipped AEGs, etc.). No word on whether or not JG, Bell, Cyma, Meister, WELL, Galaxy, BE, or any of the other major ACM manufacturers have been hit or not yet. The general consensus is that this is a crackdown in preparation for the 2008 Olympics for "security" reasons. Does this mean the end of MPEGs and cheap accessories and the resurgence of high-end brands like CA, TM, VFC, and ICS for new players? Seems to me this may be the death knell for Echo 1 at the very least, not to mention a major blow to the exponential growth rate of the sport. " | |

| HOPEFULLY this is just for the Olympics. But it looks like it isnt. Perhaps this should be in the news section? | |

| News: Paul forgot to pay for hosting and the site was temporarily shut down. The whole raid thing was a rumor. He was never taken into custody, all the other companies are fine, etc.
Business as usual.
hahahahahaha, holy cow the guy who started this got EVERYONE. | |
