| One of my friends is making a german kit. All the gear is in, but the gun still needs to be purchased. He wasnt sure if he should get the TSD G36E or the JG G3 Sg1 (he would do a little uprgading for which ever one he bought) Im not sure, he tells if he bought the g3 he would put metal brushings in it and a tightbore and if he got the g36 he would just through in a tightbore. Im not sure what he should do. Can any of you lead him in the right direction? | |

| JG G3 SG1 all the way all the TSD G36 series guns are horible unless your friend is very short then the G3 would just be awkward. | |

| ^Don't know where you heard that. The TSD G36's aren't bad at all. Way better internals and externals than the JG, that's for sure.
If you want a good G36 model, TSD/SRC just launched a G36K with a new body (nylon fiber), new internals (reinforced parts), and it's only $210, with battery and charger I believe.
Out of the two you listed, I would wait for the G36K to hit more stores for the price to come down even more.

Actually......TSDs have way better internals and the G36 series have carbon or nylon fiber or something like that, meaning their externals are better. I'm only 5-5/5-6 and the G3 SG1 felt perfect too me. It isn't very long at all.

| No one has any experience with the 36K yet as it just barely came out, but if they were able to improve on their older 36 series, it'll be absolutely perfect.
It's ROF will be decent, as it has the new Ultra High Torque motor which is comparable to a Systema Magnum, but it's not designed for high speed. It's designed to pull massive (think M150-M160) springs without breaking a sweat, not give 25 RPS.
