| Pointact has it for less, but they are out of spare shells last I checked.
Don't expect much out of it. It has a two piece inner barrel and has more or less unusable accuracy.

| Yeah, any other gun made Look at a TSD M14, maybe some of the lower powered MPEGs, any of the new TSD, UTG, or DE shotguns, etc... | |

| Are there any other respectable spring rifles on the market that use shells? | |

| UHC Super 9 uses shells, but can also use a magazine. The TSD/UTG shotguns use shells. | |

| I forgot to add I hate shotguns sorry. Im looking up the super 9 and it says 500fps that roughly 170-150 above wat I feel is acceptable | |

| Trust me, shells sound like a cool idea but they are WAY more trouble then it's worth.
I suggest you move past shells and get a gun that will last a long time, deliver decent performance, and be easy to find replacement part/magazines for.
Something like the TSD M14 would be perfect in my opinion.

| BTW, The super 9 shoots no where near 500 fps. It shoos about 350-380 with .2s at the VERY max.
If you want shells and won't be using it for backyard games or regular battles, the super 9 would be pretty good.
From what I hear the TSD M14 is a pretty decent gun. I've played against one and it was powerful and pretty accurate.
I think the super 9 would be a good choice since it can use shells (5 shells), or you can use the magazine. (25 shots)

| Well after some shopping around I came up with this: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=3694I figured if I cut roughly 50mm off of it that would make it 600mm the barrel lengh of the Kar 98 and then swap the barrels out and i then would have a 1 peice inner barrel shell feeding rifle! Thats also very accurate due to the 6.01mm bore of the barrel. Heres the issue: is that possible? Am I just a crazy kid? Or am I a genius?(Basicaly, how do you go about cutting a barrel) | |

| It doesn't use a normal AEG barrel though, plus it has a wonky hop-up design.
It MAY fit with a DB since they have the universal cut, but I haven't heard of someone successfully swapping a new barrel in one yet.

| It's not about price, it's the fact that I don't know of any compatible barrels for the Kar98. | |

| 55$ Well MB03/MB02 on airsplat comes with a scope. Not a bad rifle and you can do some mods to get it shooting at 500 FPS (ask Booligan). | |

| Is the Super 9 really that bad? Everybody seems to think its the worst gun ever made but some other people rave about it. | |

| It's not really a "sniper" that's why people don't like it. Back in the day, that was really the only cheap option for a decent sniper, until the UTGs came out. (which still aren't that great)
It's a pretty durable gun and if the spring wears out, you can buy replacement bolts so it will get your gun shooting like new again.
It was meant to be a sniper........but it doesn't perform like one.
It would be a great plinker though. If you are having backyard wars, get the TSD m14. It probably performs better and the mags hold more. (it's also not as long)

| I don't think you will need that much stuff........ The gun will only be effective to about 100 feet, so ditch the scope. I'd also ditch the bipod because the you won't really need one for backyard battles. Just get the mag and the bbs If you want a sight, get this. http://www.airsplat.com/Items/AC-SCP-EDS21.htmI have one, it's cheap, pretty bright reticule, pretty durable, and is adjustable. (the one that comes with the M14 is not adjustable and will most likely break very soon) | |

| I shot one that was a couple years old ,but never used and with .20g it couldn't hit anything more than 75ft away. Everything was terrible except for the bolt handle ,it had a nice feel, but other than that it was bad. I wouldn't get it if I were you.
Maybe the JG BAR 10 or the UTG L96 would be better.
