i bought an src m8 off of airsplat.com and when i got it i put in a 8.4 v batery and it did not fire. it makes the noise like it should be shooting but will not and insted it seems to shoot at an extreamly low velocity and the bbs will roll out of the end of the barrel. If anyone knows whats wrong or how to fix it plese let me know. i have also tried a 9.6v 1500mah battery

I'm not totaly sure but I think he ment XM8.

To awnser the orignal question: the hop-up could be all the way down, major obstruction in the barrel, or you just got a lemon.

The M8 is the XM8. X stands for experimental I think. (just guess)

Try cleaning your barrel and re-installing your hop up. You may have a faulty bucking. Take out your gearbox and see if there is plenty of air coming out the nozzle.

I would just ask airsplat if they can replace it unless it is a simple fix. If it is something replacing parts or fixing the gun, send it in.
