| this pistol is about thirty bucks at wallmart. its made by crossman and one of my friends has one. he is shooting .12s cause it'ss all he has. the gun shoots at about 360-400 fps right now but i was wondering if just like an AEG or at least higher end AEGs will .12s damage it in any way? | |

| For such a inexpensive gun, i wouldnt worry about what bbs i use. Your friend probably has nothing to worry about. | |

| He won't hit anything with a .12, keep that in mind. It won't damage it, but it also will render it more or less useless due to erratic accuracy caused by high FPS and low ammo mass. | |

| well it actually can hit a tin can from about 5 feet and still go strait through it so i don't think accuracy is too bad expecially cause it's a pistol not a sniper hahha | |

| 5 feet isn't a test in accuracy. Also, if you're using it in a game, you SHOULD have a minimum engagement distance of at least 30' with that thing, because it's shooting so fast, and I doubt that it will hit a man sized target at distances further than that unless you feed it at least .20s. At that velocity, .23 or .25 would be a better choice. | |

| actually i ment to say 15 feet ha typo sorry and yes it can hit accurately at about 35ft but much above that it's not so accurate but he hasn't really tried it on a man sized target from that far only tin cans so i bet it'd be more accurate in the long run with .12s if we shot at a larger target lol shooting tin cans is fun but hardly realistic! | |

| Try some .20s, or even .25s, and I promise you'll be amazed by the difference in accuracy and effective range. It's like night and day. | |

| Night is dark and day is lighter For CO2 pistols, i found out, IMO that .25s work better than .2s | |

| my friend took about 25 or so of my .20s that were caught in a box atfer i shot them through my G36. and he''ll note the difference i told him that .20s or even .25s would work the best for his pistol so i think he might get some after he runs out of .12s (we're not made a money you know) lol | |

| If you're concerned about the price difference between .12g and .20g BBs, then airsoft isn't the sport for you, lol... It's a continually expensive hobby, and it won't be getting cheaper any time soon. | |

| If it is a nice pistol, I wouldn't use the .12s. | |

| ya i know ha but i'm short the cash right now and i know it's a continually expensive hobby, i just don't have the moeny to go out right now and by some new BBS ha and it's a gun from walmart so i don't think using .12s will hurt it at all | |
