Game Kill Style

Okay Most of my friends, cause we don't have a very big place to play on just play pain game. Which is just playing till the players all quit out of pain.
But i was wondering how everyone else plays too. If you play with less than 5-6 people please tell me what you do in person too. If your choice is not on the list post and let me know.

Ummm hurting people is not the point of airsoft. I really hope you guys wear protective gear.

yea well all of use just use low end stuff from Walmart and fleet farm so it doesn't hurt that much,I don't disagree with you I'd like to do one hit, but we don't have enough space or people to play that way.

Airsoft is for fun people need to realize that a bit more. If you want to get hurt and call that fun by all means go ahead. I personally play 1 hit games most of the time, but I cannot say that I haven't played the "pain" game.

No, yea i would love to play one hit way more than pain game, but we just don't have enough people or enough space cause I live in a smaller town. We also don't have any airsoft teams near me either

What does the size of the group/play area have to do with the type of gameplay?

If everyone gets out too fast, then have respawns.

I always laugh when I see people play "Let's be tough and play until the pain is unbearable" because it just assures me that I'm higher up in the gene pool than some people :

It's possibly the most idiotic form of gameplay that I've ever seen, in my opinion.

I only play so far in friends backyards that are close to less than 300 sq ft, and 3 or four friends. We stay in forever cause the bad guns don't even hurt unless you get shot point blank on skin.

Seriously!

Sometimes we can't get a lot of people to go our skirmishes so sometimes it is a 2v2 game, we still play a 1 hit kill gameplay.

I haven't played the pain game type of airsoft since I was in my way early teens.

but pain game type of play can turn a little dangerous if someone is taking hits up close and personal.

I prefer the 1 hit elimination and or a set # of respawns for one side. Usually the other side has some type of tactical advantage like a fixed, dug in position and no extra lives.

Sort of a "Storm the bunker" type set up.

Especially when taking hits to the face, when not wearing a full mask. You can easily loose some teeth. When I see some of the younger kids on the block start to play with airsoft guns, I normally give them a quick brief on safety and such, mostly because I see them out in the middle street shooting each other with replica handguns.

We play 3 lives with 6 people in the woods behind my girlfriend's house. Takes us anywhere between 20-30 minutes to play a game depending on how much camping/sniping/stealth is involved

EDIT: I agree completely with OvermedicateD, safety gear is important. We normally require at least goggles and a shemaugh, etc. Most of us wear full masks.
