What you think of the new UTG rifle?

Please don't flame it!

I think its maybe ok.
Since it was made in the States it may have a better quality control.
The only thing I see holding the AEG back is the amount of UTG branding.

Let's hope UTG can show Japan and China that America can also do AEG.

One thing that sets this rifle apart from other airsoft guns on the market is that this rifle is assembled right here in the USA at the UTG headquarters in Livonia, MI. Each rifle goes through several meticulous quality control tests before being distributed to insure the utmost quality.

For the price it isn’t a bad deal on paper. You'd have to pay about 50-100 bucks more for a CA or ICS model and those have a little less rpm and fps. Now as far as the gun's actual performance, that has yet to be seen as its firing range, accuracy, and reliability have not been able to be tested as much as its more expensive variants. Personally, I think the sectioned rail covers and its excessive trade marking is very obtuse and was a bad design decision. UTG also has a rep for making less than desired products save for its accessory line and some of its spring guns. I would wait until it comes on another site for less (as Shorty is known to overprice) or someone writes/shoots a performance review before you purchase this.

Yes shorty tends to overprice around $25 - $50.

So keep in mind the overall gun is not worth the $300, more like $250.

Also even if it is 250$, you could get a G&G M4 or a CA M15 for 20-30$ more.

SO I dont see the real value in the gun.
