| Ok, my Echo 1 MP5 broke (It was my falt, if I hadn't done anything, it should have lasted at east anothe 20,000 rounds) So I have decided to get a TM P-90.
Here is what I will be buying:
Tokyo Marui P90
2 mid cap mags
Battery?
Am I forgeting anything? Do I need a new battery, or can I use the one that came with my Echo 1?
Thanks,
Airsoftguy | |

| You will need a J-Shaped battery for the P90.
EDIT: Topic title changed

| Ag, the P90 is a horrible choice I must say.
Most of the guns internals are plastic.
If will need much upgrading for more powerful springs.
To show how lame Tm was, they installed plastic bushings.

| ^^ They have Nylon bushings on all of their guns rofl.
And Most of the gun's internals are metal my friend, like most all TM AEGs.

| I think I will upgrade at soem point, but right now, I don't have the money. I am looking at the RDS. (I think that's all my walk in store sells) Does the TR have any real advantages?
So.... I can't use my Echo 1 MP5 battery???

| @ OmD
I will have to check the source again. That did seem very unlikely I do agree. Could it be possible that the earlier versions had plastic bushings and the internal list I saw was a early model? PM me the answer.

| Plastic bushings (I think) don't really matter. When I opened my MP5, there was NO WEAR on any of the parts, except the gearbox after 20,000 + rounds. The plastic bushings looked just fine. | |

| Dos it have the reflex sight? Cause I really like the reflex sight. I have the A$ (Full stock) so I probably can't use the battery. | |

| Wait, sorry to get off topic, but what broke on your mp5? If I missed this somewhere else on the forum dont get mad at me...lol...anyways the p90 is sick and is probably the best cqb weapon available (not just my opinion there). And yes there are 2 versions so you will want to pick depending on your style. The p90 also has some nice features, for example you can use the fire selector switch, but in full auto mode you can acheive semi shots by just pulling the trigger half way...now this is from memory so dont quote me. And the bull pup design is always a plus. Now the mags are nice because the dont pertrude from the gun, but keep in mind that while they are in the gun you cant wind them. Also one thing you might want to think about is that although they are avialble, p90 mag pouches are long and more annoying than a mp5 mag pouch, just somthing to think about. And yes you probably will want to upgrade the spring. And do not doubt tm's internals, trust me it will be very reliable and will last you a long time as long as you take care of it. And I thought you were waiting on the echo p90? Did you decide not to wait? | |

| Can you replace any of the parts you broke? And you could put a red dot sight on the rail if you wanted to. | |

| He really likes p-90's, hence his sig. And i would buy it at redwolf for fairly cheap and then get it upgraded with slightly higher fps, even with shipping it still will be a great deal for an upgraded TM. | |

| The TR has some extra stuff like rails, and is a lighter grey. The RDS has a built in Red Dot Sight. (Actually a reflex sight) | |

I don't know for sure, but i hear its like 30 to 50 $s depending on the weight of your package. But even with the steep shipping prices their cheap prices on TM's make up for it.

| Well, I went down to get my P90 at my walk in store, and thye have stopped keeping them in stock, because they don't sell enough. So I had to prepay and special order it. I should have it in a few days. Oh, and I got the RDS!!!
I was thinking yesterday, that TMs are around the same price as a CA or ICS, but TMs don't have a metal body. So are they really overpriced, or are you actually paying for something?

| ^^ You are paying for a reliable gun.
Don't ever expect TM prices to drop, because they aren't.
TM cares about the Japanese market, and thats about it.

| That is why you buy them from redwolf or somewhere that has really low prices for TM's even if it isn't your nearby walk-in, but thats just my views on things. | |

| Ah, you would not get it very quickly if you ordered it from redwolf unless you were willing to pay $100+ dollars on next day air shipping. Why don't you just get your MP5 fixed so you can use it until it comes in from redwolf and save some $$? | |
