| So, I'm going back and forward between either getting an AEP (That is, the CM030 G18) and getting a gas gun. As for which gas gun... I'm looking at this one, the KJW Mk1. http://www.airsplat.com/Items/GP-KJW-RUGER.htmSO... Like any good consumer, I was curious if anyone here had used it, and if they had, what they thought of it. A word of note: Yes, I realize that FPS does not mean everything. The main reason that I want this gun is because I like the styling. Although, the advertised "400 FPS" isn't bad... But does it pull the same with propane? | |

| It shoots hard, but the accuracy blows. It is very inconsistant past 40 feet. 400 fps is normal, but I've seen them shooting hotter on warm days though.
I wouldn't get one, but that is just my opinion...

| All I have ever read was how accurate the Mk1 is, this is the first I heard of it being inaccurate. Do think that the barrel could have a burr in it? How would yall compare the Crossman C11 to the above mentioned three? | |

| First off definately get a gas gun over an AEP if you can afford to. I love my G19, but its nowhere near as fun to shoot as a gas pistol, nbb or otherwise. Those Y&P models are very good, I know that for a fact, but the mk1 is decent as well. If you're buying it based on styling then I'd say go for it since I've only heard good things about it on other reviews and forums. Propane will do about the same since performance-wise its the same as green gas. Since this gun is so powerful in such a small package you wont be sniping people at a distance as its just not designed for long range shots. If you're into that look into the carbine mk1 instead to hold onto the same styling but with a cut-out stock and a long barrel.

| Ithink it is the gun design you like best, I think they aer both decent sidearms, and they will only be used mostly close quarters, so I say which ever one you like most (in looks) | |

The KJW Mk1 shoots way too fast to be used in CQB.
