| Ok, well I wear glasses, which makes it hard to find goggles that don't stick out almost 4 inches, which makes it very hard to aim a rifle. Are there any goggles you would recomend for me? Thanks. | |

Contacts cost me about $4 for 6 months of supply. Ever hear of insurance? On most insurance plans they allow one or two pairs of optical wear a year, on your next visit to the doctor ask about contacts.

| He wrote the quote... I don't see where the confusion comes into play here...
I use lab goggles, like you might get in a science class from school. They're green, and can take any of the guns on our field, so I use them. They also are connected to face by a rubber strap, which holds them comfortably, and they're not loose on my head whatsoever. The only downside is that you lose face protection, so you'd either need a balaclava or just go with goggles only.

| ^Thats what I was talking about
Bert-Do those really work? They seem awfully flimsy to me, but maybe they are strong enough
The confusion comes from the fact that he quoted it, which makes no sense if he wrote it.

| Right, they differ. I've shot these myself and they haven't broken at point blank range, so It's just fine for further distances. There are plenty of different types of lab goggles, some flimsy, others like these aren't. Odds are, ones from school will be made of some sort of plastic (talking the frame) and aren't very secure on the head. These are used in industry, (though are still cheap) and secure to head via rubber band. The lenses are also ANZI rated, so they're supposed to take a beating. Some people also use ess goggles, some with fans, etc. My lab goggles work just fine for me though | |

| Some companies like Oakley, and ESS make specialty goggles which the military uses, and they can be fitted with prescription lenses. The ESS brand are cheaper of the two. Search the internet for some of the companies which cater to the military, and law enforcement. They might cost you a considerable amount of money, but they are pretty durable. | |

| Arena goggles seem pretty good for anyone, including those who wear glasses, to me. Unfortunately they don't run cheap, $65, but I'm sure they're pretty durable. I have no experience with them, only what I've read. If you want to shell out for Arena eyewear, AGI has them in several colors... Other than that, the only eyewear I have is the V-force mask from Airsplat. It's ridiculously comfortable and seems to have enough room for glasses. If at all possible, I would recommend at least trying out contacts. It's much safer as you don't have a sheet of glass/plastic/whatever lenses are made out of these days in front of your eyes. I know a guy who fell and the frame of his glasses actually scratched his eyeball x.o Not to spoil the glasses-wearing-thing, but whatever makes you feel safe AND comfortable is the best for you. | |

| THere are some "Discount" flack jack goggles that can be bought for around $13 bucks. They are only in desert tan and they do accommodate glasses. Apperantly they are a discontinued model, or they utilize discontinued material in the contruction. If you were wearing them in combat, you would probably want to be wary of them.
However, for airsoft, I have decided to "Take the risk".
I cannot vouch for their durability, other than the info I have found online.
I wear glasses and the goggles will fit over the glasses. Although there is some pressure on the nose bridge.
They come with two lenses a goggle bag etc...
For $13 you can get two and test one.
I may very well do a video on just that actually.

| ha ha thanks I would only save 5 bucks if I bought it from there instead of ASGI. (I will get free shipping because I'm ordering a bunch of other stuff)
Otherwise, the difference would be $15

| @Stealth http://www.airsoftrevolution.com/onlinestore/product_info.php?cPath=67&products_id=377This is one source, although I cannot remember for sure if this is the one I ended up ordering from. If you do a keyword search for Arena FlakJak goggles, you'll find other sources including ebay. I got two pair in light of the cost. My only complaint is aesthetic. The goggles are wide and extend off the sides of the head a fair amount. Not really an issue if you're wearing a helmet of some kind, but a little spacey if your going with some alternative head wear. | |

| Alright thanks. I'm going to get them off ASGI because I'm getting a gun and some gear. (Most likely getting the SRC G36K Gen 2)
Expect a review from me sometime soon!
