| Try going with the Echo1 or JG G36. Very rock solid aeg, good fps and accuracy for its price. Not to mention nice build quality. | |

| I would have to agree with ME on this one. Both are good guns but echo's are just really solid guns for their price. Pretty much any echo gun would be a good buy. Also, the G36 isn't too popular and everyone has M4/M16 so I would go different and get the G36 | |

Lol, the G36 isn't popular? I would have to say that is incorrect, I know M4's are everywhere, but that doesn't mean that G36's are not popular. Anyways, my friend has an Echo 1 G36c and it is an exceptional gun, you can't go wrong with it.

| For a good AEG under $200, you have many options. If you want an affordable gun, but can get anything under $200, I would go with a G&G nylon bodied AEG. (Probably the M4) If you really want to keep the price down go with an Echo 1. Now, if you do get an Echo 1, you have to decide which one.
The G36c is probably the most popular Echo 1, but the M4 and MP5 are great too. If you are planing to play outside, maybe the M4 would be good. However, the Airsoft Reports videos showed that the MP5 is probably the most accurate. When I had to chance to fire the M4, I noticed that the BBs were blown by the wind after 90-100 ft. (I play at a place that is often windy) however you should be able to solve that with some .25s. Also, I prefer MP5 iron sights to M4/M16 sights, but you may be different. The G36c is pretty nice and accurate. I like the feel of the MP5 more than the G36, but the carry handle/rail is a nice feature. Also, if you need to use it for long/mid range AND CQB, it has the folding stock making it very compact. The MP5 is very accurate and has good range. On the A4 version, it has a good sized battery compartment. The MP5 is a pain it disassemble though, so if you like modifying your guns a lot, it might not be the best choice.
The G36c on the other hand, is supposed to be very easy to disassemble.
So if you don't have much money, go with an Echo1. If not, go with a G&G nylon bodied gun.

| There are so many good weapons for under 200$, but do you guys honestly think the JG/Echo 1 G36c can stand up to a Dboys?
DBoys are way under rated, full metal bodies that are actually not bad quality. Beefy 7mm REINFORCED gearboxes. Internally Echo 1 and JG are not even close when compared to a DBoys. G&Gs quality is not being questioned in my post BTW, but the best ACM for under 200$ is a Dboys imo.

| i suggest you dont things at face value. I think youought to look at Dboys reviews before you go and decide anything. | |

| ^^^Hartwig is exactly right, I have owned a dboys, (plastic one, I think its the one on airsplat for like $100) and I do not recommend it. Its an okay gun, but not worth the money imo. The gearbox is not as beefy as they say and the internals really can't compare to echo's, they just are not as reliable. The performance is not that great, with upgrades it could do fine but, its not as good as echo. I think allot of us are recommending things at face value as hartwig said and have not even had any experience with the guns. Now, note that I have never used the full metal versions, mabye they fixed them up a little, but I don't know. I am just saying from past experiance I would not buy and would not reccomend dboys guns. | |

| ^^ Airsplat doesn't even sell plastic Dboys most likely because they don't exist. All DBoys are full metal to my knowledge.
@Hartwig: I have read all of the ASR reviews and watched a large number of Youtube reviews of DBoys. Where do you think I get my claims from? The reviews tell it all. Read some if you don't believe what im saying about DBoys.

| The older versions of Dboys were plastic, they no longer manufacture plastic ones, thats why you dont see'em.
Please provide links for D_man. It makes it so much easier for him to see what he might decide to buy.

| Please check your facts: http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERM-BI-M4-3281.htmThe second link you posted is a review of the plastic one! How can you say they have never existed? That second link is the gun I owned! Now I hate when these "I'm right your wrong", pointless type fighting happens, lets please stop and get back on topic. What I was saying to him is that I do not suggest buying from dboys, thats just my opinion. My gun had a very poor hop up and not very good performance. Like I said though, its all fixable, its just that you could get a better gun. And I will also state again I have no experiance with their newer models. | |
