| Hey everyone, As some of you may know, im interested in possibly getting an AUG. I want to stay cheap so the JG would be perfect. I have seen some say this gun is crap and others say it is good. I watched the video, but does anyone else have anything else to say. Also, just know that if I get the thumbs up for this gun, it would then have to be cmpared against the TSD G36 E2. So tell me what you think about the AUG and then give me your opinion on which one i should get. Thanks a bunch! | |

| HI scott a couple of things first I would go with the Echo 1 G36c but the JG is probably fine, I have one and it jammed easily and I hated ot, even though I took good care of it, but maybe mine was a "lemon" lol but if u like bullpups go with the L85 or a Famas, or even a JLS F2000 I just got that a moonth ago they are really good and I shot many bullets with it, it is good looking pretty light, and the sights are awsome good job!! plz take my advice | |

| I have a JG AUG and I think that it is awesome. No other airsoft gun has the special trigger, extremely easy disassembly feature, or the long barrel with short length (in it's price range. JLS SUCKS!!) And all of my friends have JGs and this one is just as good as the rest. It shoots just as accurate, as fast, and hasn't jammed ONCE! (I've had it for 1 year and a half) Just get whichever gun you think looks cooler, since they all basically shoot the same. And probably the reason fsdakiller's gun jammed one of a few reasons: 1. It needs to be cleaned 2. The magazine needs to be cleaned 3. You are using crap BBs 4. Your magazine sucks | |

| well, the P90 has all of that because it also has the bul pup design, but every one other than the TM stinks, so fr the price, you are at least partially correct.

| Yes, the JG AUG is really a great AEG for the price, except if you get a lemon. My friend has one, and it has great finish, decent range, and very good accuracy at 150 feet. | |

You are saying that all TMs other than the P90 stinks? I would have to disagree. But anyway... The JG AUG is a great gun for the price, possibly one of JGs best guns. However if you do decide to purchase it, make sure to buy some optics, because the stock sights blow. | |

| Yes, I am saying that P90s made by other brands stink.
We are not going to start a conflict in this topic. Go to gun wars if you want to compare P90's.

| OK first of all, P90s is good on TM but for a JG AUG, are you sure he cant get a TM AUG. better quality and stuff, a little factor of reliability, and quality right. | |

| Fdsa killer the JG Aug is not that far behind the TM. The JG shoots harder out of the box but is not as upgradable as the TM. The TM overall is better if you play alot and have money to upgrade but for the price I think the JG AUG is way better. But, in the TM's defense it will last a lot longer. | |

| I have a TM, and in some ways I agree, since the TM shoots much slower since the japanese law is like under 315 FPS, if it wasnt I would think they would be made with a lot more FPS | |

| My only concern was that the original AUG that we tested had a terminal failure. That failure manifested itself in the form of firing at VERY low velocity after we field stripped it using the quick take down feature. The FPS was 130 fps and we couldnt figure out why. We surmised that during the quick take down (Which we did gently and with care) caused either the hop up bucking to be deformed or some thing that clearly resulted in a loss of compression. OR The gear box itself failed (Though we doubt this point VERY much). Aside from that, our follow tester has proven to be a great and accurate shooter. ALthough we have not utilized that quick disassembly feature again. I cannot give you the citation, but I vaguely recall hearing that frequent use of this feature was ill advised on the TM model some years ago. I cannot recall the source, but I do distinctly remember reading that some where. It may be for the very same reason. Aside from this point I will say that due to the all metal receiver and barrel (Cast POT metal it feels like) the gun is heavy and not particularly well balanced. (One hand shooting is difficult to do accurately). Of course, the metal parts I just mentioned also make the gun feel like one of the sturdiest airsoft guns on the market! The mag well is another complaint and this complaint can easliy be remedied. The mags have a tendancy to wobble from side to side (TO the left and right of the gun) bc the mag well is overly wide and relatively shallow. Now, it doesnt seem to affect firing performance and the mags have not accidentally dropped free, but it is something I would address if it were my primary airsoft gun. The battery compartment is tight also, but no worse than normal. One nice aspect of the design (Airsoft I mean) is that the mech box is supposedly easy to pop out. (Simply remove the plate found under the battery) according to http://www.mechbox.com. Unfortunately, the plastic flip up "Iron sights" are absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!! But, frankly I think the gun looks better with an optic on it anyway. BUT the rail is wider than most and you will prob have to buy some wider scope mounts. Other than that, the gun has performed fine. Its ROF is average, but it seemed to have better than averave accuracy. Mag changes were a littel awkward at first, but you get the hang of it pretty quickly. Mag capacity was average. Trigger function too took a little getting used to, but frankly, I think it works great. I cant tell you how many time I have had an HK style fire selector switch that has accidentlally swung into semi or even safe, just as I expected to lay down suppressing fire. The AUG trigger eliminates this concern almost completely. All in all its a unique offering and of course if you love bull pups (Like I do) then its def something to consider. Just dont get bug spray on it! AND REMEMBER!!!!! Its your money, dont be discouraged from getting it if you hear bad things about its looks. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and its your eye. Best of luck! Konrad | |

| Hey I just found out that in order to disassemble the AUG you're not supposed to push that take-down button thing all the way out, you're only supposed to push it until it clicks. That was probably KONRAD's reason for his problem. I, unfortunately, pushed it all the way out, and now the reciever and barrel wobbles a lot, and the button thing falls out VERY easily. Whoever buys the AUG try not to make the same mistake we made (I got that info from FlankerTanker and the instruction book of the gun ) | |
