| http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=138347First off the gear box is just different. Completely new design, well kinda. More like a chimeara gearbox using components and the shapes of other gearboxes. As one poster from Arnies said "Like a V7 meets a V6... Beautifully simple..." And i must agree with him. The design looks very simple in comparison to the V2 or V3 gearbox. The most interesting part was that its uses the same kind of Spring guide as m249's, though ive got no clue what this does for the user. Anyway last bit of info, is that the gear box does not need to be opened to take out the spring. in one pic you clearly notice a nob at the back end of the gearbox, that is where i believe and as FarEast stated "the spring is removed from the back and does not require you to strip the whole gear box." If it is successful i hope to be seeing it in other designs, if possible. *wink*P90*wink* Also, a direct quote from FarEast (an ICS contact on Arnies) "Yep all ICS replicas will have 100% steel receivers..."

| I love me some P90! I should take a look at ICS, I have not really given them the time of day. | |

| Wow very cool, the whole concept is very reminiscent of the G&G Fourteen series mechboxes. (I have the SOC16, not the new versions) | |

| I saw the gearbox at SHOT, and the only thing that impressed me about it was the fact that it has variable power output, due to an adjustable spring guide. Tighten it for more FPS, loosen it for less... Other than that, the body was nice. It should be one of the best L85s out. | |

| Yep, that's it. Looks like they changed the adjustable FPS feature from a screw to different mounting holes in the spring guide. I guess that would make it more consistant. | |
