| Which is better? Echo1 G36c or Jg G36c or are they the same except that echo1 rebrands them and sells them for more.
What's the difference? (besides the price) because im thinking about getting it and if the Jg isn't too bad ill get that and a mp5k.

| JG builds the G36C for Echo 1, but with some differences in some production runs.
I would get the JG, provided you have some experience with AEGs.
The only thing you get with the Echo 1 is a weaker spring, a warranty that you may have problems getting honored, and unless you find a V3 JG, metal bushings. Everything else is the same.
Depending on where you buy the JG, you may find the V3 with the metal bushings, as well as having a store supplied warranty, all for about $20-$40 less than an Echo 1.

| Well said, I don't think I can ad to much to that, though I have heard really great things about the JG G36c. | |

| birch, if you did that it it WOULD solve ALMOST everything. But I do not recommend it unless you have taken apart an AEG before. | |

| birch, it depends on what version JG you have. The V1 and the first V2s had plastic guides, but all of the later V2s and V3s I've opened had the metal ones.
Depending on when and where you bought yours, it could be plastic or metal.

| ^Echo 1 doesn't personally do anything. They have whatever factory is making that specific gun for them make it to their specs. | |

Not really. Since Echo1 has them make it the way they want it, its gonna be about the same. The Echo1 might be a little but better. as Booligan said, I think they sell JGs. I wish they would name the actual brand instead of saying "JG/Echo1". It would make it a lot less confusing.

| I heard that they dont shim the G36c for jg is it true? Does this mean that it will break after a year or two? maybe less?
and airsoftguy, i totally agree with u, saying "JG Echo1" is really confusing and retarded

| They are shimmed the same by the same people, to the same crappy quality.
I haven't seen many China made guns with good shimming, and this is no exception. A good shim job would be a good idea on either the JG or the Echo 1.

| All V1's have their problems, that is why there are V2's and V3's. | |

| ^That doesn't mean that the newer versions will have a good shim job. Shimming your gears is a great thing to do, but just because you can not/don't want to open up your gearbox and reshim it, does not mean that you should not buy the gun. Untouched, the jg or echo1 g36 will last you a long time and will be very durable. In other words, don't let the shim job be your deciding factor in purchasing the aeg, imo. | |

| fdsakiller that was a little OT lol, anyway the shim job isn't extremely important because the gun is still going to last a while regardless. Also, my friend has an Echo 1 G36c and he has had it for about a year and a half now and its still working fine and I don't think that the JG version is much different. However, shimming your gears is a good idea to do anyway. | |
