| If you get a V3 G36 then it will be the same as the E1. Even if you don't get a metal spring guide and metal bushings, it will still last about as long as an E1. | |

| Well, I'm not the primary sourse, but I've herd that they sell JG rebranded, retested, and most of the time upgraded...but I got that from Wikipedia...so it may not be true | |

| I know that this is kind of old, but look at the topic
Back here again.......
by ROBO Fury
There is a chart posted by booligan about the versions. Meaning different size and shape, So I believe thats why I have never seen an M4 saying version 3, My friend was so dissapointed thinking that they wont upgrade their gear box.
Also JG is the manufacturer and Echo1 is the rebrander

| I have a JG G36 V3 and it has metal bushings, all metal gear box, and a metal spring guide (i'm pretty sure) and it's shoots great! I've never tried an E1 G36 but i've watched the comparrison video on you tube of the E1 and CA G36s the Echo1 break down they show you looks and (they tells you about it) fits the internal description of the Jg G36 to the letter. So i'd say go with JG there cheaper, there the same as E1 and you can pickone up for $100- $120, i got mine for $120 off ebay (that total price shipping too) and it came brand new and very very high quality. stick with JG | |

| E1 rebrands JGs G36Cs Im not sure if the JG comes with a metal spring guide, but Im pretty sure it does. I would get the JG and save 30 bucks, or you can get the E1 for maybe a metal spring guide, that the JG doesnt have, or the JG might have it, and a tiger on you gun. | |

| JG nor E1s have metal spring guides. If you don't believe me, look at my review.
E1s have metal bushings, most of the time JGs do not. (If you take your gearbox out of your gun, you can tell whether they are nylon or metal)
And stop necro posting please. The thread is from May, 12

| Well in that case, JG G36Cs are better. The only thing E1s have over JGs is some cheesy trades, metal bushings, and a pretty box. MOST of the time the warranty is not honored. The metal bushings really aren't necessary unless you are using a high rof set up or a very strong spring. (bushings are only like 15 bucks max) IMO not worth the extra 20-30. | |

| I thought i saw booligan mention something about E1 starting to honor alot of or more of there warranties. But otherwise i agree with you, and besides the JG lemon rate is non-existant now...i think lol | |

| Yeah I have heard that they have been better with the warranties lately. Yeah, I doubt JGs ever had a higher lemon rate over E1. All E1 does is order their guns from from JG, so I assume the lemon rate would be the same. Yeah, I'm not going to buy an E1 again unless they start coming with a metal spring guide also. (then it's worth the extra cash since spring guides cost 20 bucks) JGs shoot hotter now and since we only play like once a month, it would last plenty of time. (but I'm still getting a KWA M4 ) | |

I've been hearing more and more good things about the warranty from consumers, but some retailers have been telling me that they still aren't paying them back for warranty work sometimes. Some food for thought.

| well my JG G36 is a V3. gear box and i'm pretty sure it has metal bushings (not that i use more than the stock ROF) i have heard of the warranties not being honored by E1 but other than that i haven't heard much bad about them, stealthmaster is right the JG is a better bargain than the E1 and i've never heard of any lemons from either brand (that weren't delt with by warranty) so..... go with JG i'd say
oh and sorry if i necro posted i didn't check the date on this post just saw the title and thought i could put my 2 cents in.....

| My Echo 1 M4 has a metal spring guide ,but not metal bushings. Regardless if I were going to keep the gun stock then I would buy JG or even the new CYMAs because they are cheaper with about the same quality. I personally haven't heard anything bad about the warranty because nobody I know ever needed it. | |
