| I may be wrong, but it should work for gears also. Although it may work its not the same formula used for the regular gear grease, which means it would not perform as well. Each type of grease is created specifically for a certain part of the airsoft gun. Much like cars for example, Cadillacs requires Premium gas, while a Dodge Neon only needs regular. Its like putting regular in your gears. I would recommend buying actual gear grease, its only $6 at airsoftgi.com. Why hold back on $6? Its not a lot of money and its worth the extra. I see your only 15 yrs old, bag mom for a few house hold chores and earn the dollars. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=29_38&products_id=695Now I may be wrong on this, so don't hold me to it. Lets wait and see what other board members think before you make your decision. | |

| From reading the reviews on ASGI, i hear they dont give you alot of grease in their tubes... I dont know the specific formula used for cylinder grease, and how it is different from regular gear grease i.e. white lithium grease. lol, i know i didnt contribute much... lets just hope Booligan can add to this. | |

| If I bought it at ASGI the grease would come out to 16 bucks lol
I asked the guy at my local store for white lithium grease and he said he didn't have any but he gave me the cylinder grease.
I guess I'll go to home depot and pick up some there. (i needed cylinder grease anyway, but you get two LITTLE tubes for 8 bucks.....) lol

| Home Depot's huge tubes of white lithium grease are such a better deal than any of those little tubes of "specific airsoft" grease, I'd just go with the white lithium... | |

| I find it annoying when people post for information that is extremely easy to find. Its like spoon feeding a 30 year old person.
1- Go online and search Home Depot 2- Locate a store from Homedepot.com 3- Call the store and find price
*Prices vary in all regions due to supply and demand. Also prices may vary depending on shipping distance from the manufacturer.
Here is a store located in Phoenix. 5230 W Baseline Road Laveen, AZ 85339 (602)605-8690
