| Well, my E1 M733 is a year and a half old and is not performing as well as it used to, so i decided that it is time to get a new gun, and i figured while I am at it i might as well jump to a high end gun that will last. I was thinking of buying the CA G36k, anyone have any experience with the gun, any thoughts, or other guns that i should consider (I would either buy a G36 variant or an M4 variant)? btw the gun must be able to hold battery: http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?products_id=24484I don't want to spend more than $350, and I also would like to get at least five mid-cap mags when i order the gun, i already have M4 mid-caps, but i don't have any G36 mid-caps. suggestions are welcome. | |

| well first of all with the mags i would suggest a magwell converter lik this: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=2304 Concerning the gun i have heard mostly positive things about it but considering the current status of CA getting a lemon is more likley than before. I'm not sure if the internals have been changed by CA latley but its worth a closer look. | |

| I would prefer to use G36 mags for the gun if possible, and is there any way to avoid getting a lemon, or at least reduce he chances of getting one, e.g. are there any retailers that would test out the gun to make sure that it works or something along those lines? | |

| Just order from Airsoftgi. If you gun doesn't work they will help you. Also I was in LOVE with the G36k and it has gotten great reviews I would go for it if I was you. | |

| There are better guns out there, but if you want a G36K, they are supposed to be good and pretty reliable. I would keep the G36C mags because they only need to be wound once all the way. Also, the scopes aren't very good and will probably hard to use goggles, let alone a mask. I would put a rail on top of the scope so you can have a red dot and a scope.
I love the look of G36Ks, go for it. If you are going to get extra mags, the E1 mags are durable, feed very well, and are cheaper than most mags. (the mag "clamp" tabs break easy, but I'm pretty sure all G36 mags are like that) I've never had problems with the mags jamming, but the mags don't feed to well until you spray a little silicone lube in the mag. After that, they are perfect. | |

| Don't do that check pointact.com. That gun is also out of stock in the link you showed. Also do you need a quick aim and a the built in scope? I would get this http://pointact.com/prod_SRC_G36_618_24.html a box of mids and a sight. Although you can get the built in scope one it's up to you that's just my opinion. | |

| I don't really like that gun, i figure that i will get the G36k with a built in scope, then as i get more $$$ i will buy the mags and then if i find it necessary i will buy the quick aim. I want to buy it from them so that i can get the ten percent off, free shipping and they are pretty close to me so when they do get it back in stock, it won't be long before i get it. I think it is out of stock because the gun is supposed to be released in that store today. | |

| What if i wired my battery out to a PEQ box, would it fit in a large PEQ box? and i am looking at a G36k, it has a longer front-grip, are you sure that it wouldn't fit? i asked the guys at hotspot airsoft if it would fit in the front grip of a CA G36k and they said it would, i don't know if they tried or is they just assumed that it would. | |

| Just got an email from the guys over at hotspot and they said that the battery would fit in the front grip with "little effort". | |
