| My MP5k Pdw doesn't shoot for some reason The gearbox is running and i hear the motors but no bbs r coming out The mag works so im pretty sure its not the problem
I think that a few bbs r stuck in the gearbox or something (the unjamming tool doesn't get anything out so im not totally sure)
What should i do???? take it apart?

| Take out the mag and turn the gun upside down. Look into the feed nozzle and verify that the air nozzle is moving back and forth when shooting. If not, take it apart. If it is moving, then (with no bbs in the gun and safety glasses on) shoot at a piece of tissue paper or other light material and ensure that it's shooting air out of the barrel. If not, take it apart, your compression is gone. If it is, then try a different magazine. If that doesn't work, then take it apart and look for anything obviously wrong. | |

| My Galaxy mp5k stopped shooting too...I messed with it and a BB flew out of the magwell into my hand. I then took the gun apart and found there was a BB jamed in my hop up. I took the BB out and now when I put the gun back together the motor will just click, but the gun doesn't fire...sorry to sorta hijack the thread but anyone have any ideas as to why the gun won't fire? When I pull the trigger you just hear a *click*, but nothing happens. I'm going to fully dissasemble it and see if there is anything noticeable. | |

| newbatairsoft, i had the same "click" problem with my E1 mp5 pdw and all that i did was charge up the battery and shoot it on full auto for a couple of shots and it seemed to work fine. | |

| godofgun, I DID have the EXACT same problem you had...until I unjammed it...then I got the "click problem"...
To take of the selector switch off take out the little screw beneath one of the selectors, than take it off. Then pull the other selector out the other side. Go on youtube and look at airsofthawaii's mp5k videos, he shows how to do it.
Tommyboy, thank you so much, I will try that out!

| okay, so it's set up like this: http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/images/tm_mp5_selector_jpg.jpgOn the right selector your removed the tiny black screw...so it should come right off. If it isn't falling off as soon as you removed that screw, then I'm guessing it is glued (wierd). Do you see any glue in there? | |

| They were thinking that people didn't want them falling off, lol. Darn you galaxy for making a gun that doesn't fall apart Just pull on it. Glue isn't THAT strong. | |

| lol, they won't do any dirty work. They'll confirm that it's broke, throw it away, and send you a new one.
If it's still in the warranty, go for it, but if you want to use this experience to learn about the inside of your gun, then pull that sucker off and get it fixed.

| Sounds like the reinforcement tube on the magazine release. Look in the slot on the body where the mag release lever is, and see if it fits in there. | |

also without this piece would the gun malfunction? Externally. It's part of the hinge for the magazine catch. Without it the mag release lever may be harder to push.
