PostSubject: AGM MP40 or TSD Sportline MP40   AGM MP40 or TSD Sportline MP40 EmptyFri Aug 29, 2008 11:19 am

Hey guys,
some of you may have noticed my other thread about the possibility of me making a german kit. SO both of these MP40's are now out on the market, the TSD being the newest. The only drawback i see to both guns is the fact that the mags only hold 50ish bb's so im gonna need a lot of them. Other then that, I have no clue about the ups and downs of the guns. So, do any of you have an idea on which would be best for the German kit?/ Thanks again!
Scott

They're the same gun.
The TSD is a rebranded AGM.

I would personally wait for the SRC MP40 or MP41. Both are the proper full auto only configuration, are full metal, apparantly have blowback (they are AEGs), and the MP41 will have a wood stock.

Here are pics out of their catalog:

No word on price yet, but I imagine it'll be on par with SRC's usual pricing, and much better build than the AGM.

Well, the currently existing ones do. No clue about the new SRCs. They could use some new kind of gearbox, or it could be a V3 with a blowback kit. Only time will tell.

Chances are its going to be something attached to the piston... But you never know would be cool to see some sort of copy of the TopTech/G&G BB system.

And to be more accurate, all current AEG Mp40s use a V3 gearbox. the Top Mp40 used the bellows system i believe.
