Chest Rig or Vest - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Chest Rig or Vest   Chest Rig or Vest - Page 2 EmptyMon Oct 06, 2008 1:51 am

okay thanks, that helps. Even in winter you can still easily become dehydrated. (like when you go ice skating, you don't feel as thirsty when you are cold, but once you step out you are like, "need water!" ha ha)

I'm going to get because it's only 30 bucks. It's not like I won't use it and it carries extra stuff. Expect some reviews from me after Christmas. (SRC G36K, and some gear)

I think Chest Rigs are more designed towards the heavy set people. I know for me and my friends they don't fit, but some guys at games have them and they fit them well but those guys tend to be bigger.

As for hydration, at some games in NC it's necassary to have drinks on your body at all times. I have a backpack that is designed for hydration which is pretty cool. Most guys just throw on a camel back with whatever gear they are wearing though.

Also I want to point out that we're kind of way off topic Embarassed.

EDIT: My experience with those two vests is totally different. I own the second one. The first one I THINK I have used haha. I used something similar but it may not be the same because the person got it off evike. I would still suggest getting a Plate Carrier, because then you can totally customize it.

Also no one really knows about this site but it's GREAT!!!! Check it out your self they have a great selection of cheap vests. http://www.tacticalgeardepot.com/index.php?cPath=32_39&osCsid=8bb6e5395962e92036866737cfb4edb4

I don't see how we are getting OT because this is still about gear.

Chest Rig or Vest - Page 2 Empty

Is there enough room to mount a double mag pouch to the front?

http://pointact.com/prod_VEST-G_GREEN__836_89.html

ug I'm so stuck on what to get.

I would need to carry 5 G36 mags, (minimum of 3) some speedloaders, a hydration pack attached to the back, and I would like to through on a dump ouch/mag recovery pouch.

http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_135&products_id=1110

I was thinking if I got this, I could attach a dump pouch to the back of this. do you think that would work?
