Echo 1 MP5A4

Me and my friends like airsoft but we are tired of buying those cheap walmart guns and having them break in a few weeks. I want something that is between $100 and $150 possibly more if its a good gun. I am looking at the Echo 1 MP5A4. Is this a good AEG for beginners. Or should i get the JG MP5A4. Thanks.

Echo1 and JG are the same company for the most part. The rumor has it that Echo1 Rebrands the rifles that JG makes. Rebranding would be me buying the JG M4 then repackaging it and selling it as an Echo1 for $20 more.

Normally the JG variants are cheaper, so I would go with them. Echo1's warranty they offer will be of no use, they will not honor it.

E1 is supposedly honoring their warranty now. Still not worth the extra $$ IMO. I don't think they add metal bushings to this model either.

JG/E1 MP5s are great beginner guns. They are pretty accurate and seem to be the most accurate JG/E1 I've shot. (out of the VA MP5, 416, M16 RIS, M4 CQB, and Para M4)

Just clean your barrel when you get it, most guns come with a crap load of sludge stuff in the barrel and this one is no exception.

The Echo 1 MP5A4 is great, inexpensive AEG for a begginer or intermediate player. As for future accessories I'm going to add for it, I plan on getting a scope mount, a red dot scope, some midcaps or lowcaps, and a tactical vest to hold all this stuff.

-Full stock for a large battery

-nice quality battery

-nice RoF

-good FPS

-has a nice weight

-excellent range

-great accuracy

-lots of metal parts

-nice quality metal magazine

-cheap

Cons:

-long charge time=6 hours

-light(good and bad)

-magazine only holds about 170 BB's

-not as high quality as TM or CA

-low quality charger

-back sling mount is flimsy
