| Have you done some searching about these guns? Or have you just picked those out of the Echo 1 USA catalog right now? It is up to you which one you want to choose, from my knowledge, the Echo 1 G36C is the best weapon Echo 1 has. Also take a look at the JG G36C and the JG M4 TSF, since they are nearly the exact gun, but cheaper. ****THERE WILL BE NO ECHO 1 VS JG ARGUMENTS IN THIS THREAD*****
IF YOU WANT TO ARGUE ABOUT ECHO 1 AND JG, DO IT HERE

| Thanks for the suggestions. My friend has the Echo G36. I don't know how the Echo M4 preforms. ****The ones arguing were my friends, if they lock my thread I will not be happy. I will tell them to battle it out on the phone.****

| PMed to ya, so this topic wouldn't get all clogged up.
Besides, bushings are <10$, and they are easy to install too.

| IF ya want to go through the trouble of buying separate bushings and installing them yourself go ahead its up to you. Otherwise E1 has save you some time and has done it for you. | |

| E1 V3s also has metal spring guides installed
I emailed Echo 1 about it and they said all V3 E1 guns have metal bushings and spring guides.

Bushings are small, thick bearing shaped pieces, they vary in construction, though mostly they are made of nylon or some type of metal. They also vary in size, the default size for AEGs are 6mm, though high performance AEGs have 7mm, 8mm, 9mm and 10mm bushings or bearings. They hold the gear axles and center them into the holes on each side of a mechbox. You should know how to install them before you even buy an AEG, that goes for everybody. Also before buying an AEG, familiarize yourself with all of the parts in a mechbox. Using online resources such as written guides, and videos can help you a great deal.

| So you guys are telling me I should go for the JG but install my own bushings. But I also want to know if there are any other factors of preformance and parts that the JG doesnt have. | |

| No, you have to disassemble the gun, open the mechbox and try not to have it explode, then take out all the parts, install the bushings, put the gears back in, find out that it is now shimmed wrong with the new bushings, take the gears out, spend 10 minutes reshimming the gears, then you have to TIME the gears, get the tappet plate in (Spring can me stiff, and not want to co-operate) hold the cylinder AND spring guide down while trying to compress the spring enough to stuff it in the mech box (Mad even harder by the fact that a JG will have an M120). Your hand will probably slip, and the spring guide will shoot across the room, and at the same time through off your carefully timed gears, so you will have to find the spring guide, re-time the gears, and do it again! This will most likely happen several times. Once to do it correctly, you then have to close the gear box and reassemble the gun. And if you did ANYTHING wrong, your gun will not work, and you have to do it again, OR it will fire, but wear down the internals much more quickly.
I have done this, and it the end, trying the stuff in the spring ACTUALLY BROKE my weakened gearbox. I highly recommend spending the extra 15 (ONLY $5 MORE THAN THE BUSHING) and save yourself the trouble.

Do what you want. Mine was only a suggestion. Now I think AG painted a dark picture for you of opening a mechbox. Its not that bad trust me. You really have to not know what your doing to mess something up. So we aren't telling you to buy anything. We are just giving you suggestions.
