| ...im not sure about this, i believe they used a plastic gearbox in their M249. check www.wgcshop.com ,you cant get a direct link from them so you'll have to click on AEG, then click on the STAR logo. Then click on the pic or their M249 and look at the details they provide. | |

| OK to clear this up. STAR has only put in Polycarb Gearboxes in their M249 series. All their other guns to my knowledge have a metal gearbox. Topic closed | |
