TM SIG 552 vs TM AK47

Ok, so I've narrowed down my search for an AEG to a brand (TM), but I can't decide which one to start saving up for. My walk-in store has both of them, so that's where I'm going to buy it from.

I like the 552 because of its looks, and its ability to be very compact. On the flipside of that, I really like the AK47's old-school (no fancy rails, grips, etc...) looks, although it's not as compact, in which case I could get the AK47-S version to solve that.

The 552's magzines also clamp together like a G36, so I'll have more ammo avaliable when I need it.

However, it is said (from the reviews I read) that the AK47 series are TM's most accurate stock AEG. I kinda want emokid's opinion on this matter, since he has it.

They also both use a Version 3 mechbox, so the internals will basically be the same.

If you do not recomend either, please try to point me in the right direction, and I would prefer a TM AEG with a Version 3 mechbox.

(And please don't suggest any other brand, I have my heart set on a TM.)

Just go with what ever one you want. It looks like you favor the Sig 552. But, on the other hand, TM has very, very good ak-47's. Its your choice.

I went with the AK mainly because I have an AK. I dont have a TM but I agree with you that they just look amazing. If you do want a compact gun, just get the AK with the folding stock.
