| well, I think they are trying to keep the price low, (AND THEY ARE NOT EXACTLY THE SAME!!) but my opinion of Echo1 just went down a little bit. | |

| Everyone? Maybe they are selling guns faster than they can get batteries? Idk, but this is really stupid. And I LIKE Echo 1!!!!!! | |

| They do upgrades, so they are not like other rebranders. But if you pay for the battery, and might not get it, that really stinks. | |

| As far as I know, it's only the Tactical AK that does not come with a battery | |

| I think they're blaming the rising costs of oil and copper, on a battery shortage. So now they're looking for a new batt. supplier.
As for the JG whatnot, I see no reason not to buy a JG anyway. They're cheaper, and though they may not be the exact same gun, they're still ridiculously similar.

No don't do that, my JG AK-47 was not a very good gun at all. its stock fell of on its first field test. It is unfix able, unless i spend more money, witch i am not going to do. I Hope they fix this, I have a hard time getting good Airsoft guns over the net as it is, let alone the battery and charger.

| Well as far as I can tell, Echo 1 and JG are almost always the same thing. bioniclebert is right, even Echo 1 owners have to admit they are very similar. I have found members on other forums who I believe that say the warranty was NOT honored, one of the main reasons to go Echo 1.
If this only applies to Echo 1 and not JG, JG might take a huge sep in front of Echo 1.

| Yes, I have heard that they have not honored their warranty. However, most of those stories are "I heard someone who said the warranty wasn't honored", not "My warranty wasn't honored." Also, most Echo1s now come with metal bushings and spring guide, as well as a downgraded spring. However, no batteries is a big let down. But i would still go with Echo1. | |
